Hello Friends of Tower,

My family and I have felt a warm reception in the Tower community. As new arrivals, we are grateful for the kindness, humor and inclusive spirit we’ve soaked up all around us. So it’s not surprising to see in this report the generosity you all show Tower School.

The following pages illustrate the many ways to support Tower. Giving to the Annual Fund, volunteering for the Tower School Parents Association, playing in the golf tournament, raising your hands high at the auction’s fund-a-need. Look what your generosity has spawned: we have a beautiful new gallery space in the schoolhouse that highlights student voice and creativity; faculty continue to stay on the forefront of teaching in a rapidly changing educational setting from crucial professional development opportunities; and students are engaged in relevant hands-on learning projects which strengthen analytic and problem solving skills. This is the momentum that coming together around a community’s worthy goals can bring.

But just as important, the support recognized here models for the children and early adolescents central themes of what we teach: leadership, involvement in community, appreciation and giving back. These go to the heart of the Tower Code.
