As you start planning your World Cruise you may want to know more details, so below are

answers to some questions that guests typically ask. If you do not see the information that

I’ve been told that I need to complete a Guest Information Form. What is that, and how do I take care of it?

The Guest Information Form is a critical form Viking needs on file before you travel. It enables us to create your reservation,

produce travel documents and make any airline reservations. You should complete a Guest Information Form for each

person traveling in your party as soon as you can. You can fill out the form by visiting myvikingjourney.com.

Do I need travel protection? While travel protection is not required, we do recommend it. Emergencies sometimes

arise, and you want to protect your travel investment. When you purchase the Viking Cruises Travel Protection Plan within

14 days of your initial deposit/payment for your trip, you also receive the Viking Cruises Cancellation Waiver Benefit.

Is there a dress code? During the day on board and ashore, dress is casual and comfortable, including shorts, jeans

and sturdy shoes for walking tours. Swimsuits, brief shorts, cover-ups and exercise attire should be reserved for poolside

and in the gym. For evenings, while there are no “formal nights,” the recommended onboard dress is elegant casual

for most restaurants, performances or other special events. Suggested attire for ladies includes a dress, skirt or slacks

with a sweater or blouse; for gentlemen, trousers and a collared shirt are required in all evening dining venues. Ties

and jackets are optional.

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions? In most cases we can. Every meal has vegetarian options and

our chefs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests. Guests requiring special diets (low-salt, diabetic,

gluten-free and low cholesterol) should alert us 90 days prior to departure and inform the Maître d’ when on board.

Is the ship non-smoking? All Viking ship interiors, staterooms and balconies are nonsmoking except for the designated

outdoor smoking area on the starboard side of Deck 8. Smoking restrictions also apply to e-cigarettes.

What is the e-check program? Viking offers savings when you pay via e-check (an electronic debit

to your checking account); a quick, convenient way to pay for your trip that is as easy as providing

your credit card number. Ask for details when you book.

Do I need a passport and/or visa to travel with Viking? Passports valid for at least six months following your visit

are required for all international travel. If you need to renew your passport, contact the National Passport Information

Center (NPIC) at travel.state.gov.

For visa information, all guests including non-US citizens and green card holders should seek advice from their respective

embassy, consulate or Travel Agent to determine which documents are needed prior to departure. Should you require a

visa for your journey, please be aware that each country/embassy/consulate sets its own policies regarding their issue,

so allow ample time for processing. Be sure to obtain and carefully review for accuracy all your required documents

prior to departure to avoid delays, denied boarding/entry or additional cost.
