standout freshman Katie Rainsberger will run the 1,000 meters and Maggie Schmaedick will run the 3,000 meters. Four-time all-American Raevyn Rogers will continue her title defense in the 800 meters along with junior Brooke Feldmeier.

Both the Men and Women of Oregon will compete in the 4x400 meter relay and the distance medley relay, with teams to be announced.

In the field events, sophomore transfer Chaquinn Cook will compete in the triple jump after a strong Oregon debut in Seattle and freshman Rhesa Foster will make her long jump debut. Redshirt freshman Ronna Stone will throw in the shot put while also joining Madeline Middlebrooks in the weight throw. For the men, Damarcus Simpson will go in the long jump, Max Lydum and Cullen Prena will compete in the weight throw and Ryan Hunter-Simms will lead a trio of Ducks in the shot put.

UW Invitational: While most of the Ducks head to New York this weekend, four members of the Men of Oregon will make their way to Seattle for the UW Invitational. Senior Cole Walsh will compete in the pole vault after setting a PR in Seattle two weeks ago with a jump of 17-8.5 (5.40m). Ben Milligan will go in the high jump, and multi-event athletes Mitch Modin and Joe Delgado will compete in the heptathlon for the first time in 2017.

Rankings: The Women of Oregon remain as the top-ranked team in the latest USTFCCCA computer rankings, while the Men of Oregon stay as the No. 2-ranked men’s team.

Bowerman Watch: The Oregon women were all over the preseason watch list for the top award in the sport, as Raevyn Rogers, Deajah Stevens and Ariana Washington all earned a spot on the list. Edward Cheserek, the only three-time finalist in the history of the award, found himself on the preseason watch list once again for the men.

Ducks Claim Seven Wins at UW Preview: In a rust-busting event two weeks ago, the Ducks came away with seven event wins in their 2017 debut. Hannah Cunliffe returned to the track for the first time since suffering an injury at last year’s NCAA Outdoor Championships, winning the 60 meters in 7.19 seconds (No. 2 in NCAA). Sasha Wallace set an NCAA-leading time and meet record of 7.96 while winning the 60 meter hurdles, and Raevyn Rogers just missed her own record in the 600 meters with a winning time of 1:26.96. Alaysha Johnson took the 200 meters with a PR time of 24.09, and Chaquinn Cook kicked off her Oregon career by winning the triple jump with a mark of 41-8.75 (12.71m), already second in UO history.

For the men, Kyree King made his Oregon debet by winning the 60 meters in 6.65 seconds, and Cole Walsh crushed his original PR in the pole vault with a mark of 17-3.75 (5.27m) to claim the seventh win for the Ducks.
