A message from our CEO

The Michigan Association for HomeCare & Hospice (MHHA) is pleased to announce the opening of registration for its 2018 An-

nual Meeting & Exposition at the Amyway Grand Plaza. This year’s meeting takes place April 25-27, offering three days of op-

portunity to learn, engage with distinguished speakers, and network. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitor

hall with over 60 vendor experts showcasing their products and services.

The MHHA conference is the largest gathering for home care and hospice in Michigan this year. You can expect to learn about

the latest research, development, regulations, laws, and news. The MHHA Annual Conference provides carefully planned edu-

cation content with inspirational keynoters and knowledgeable experts.

Our theme for the 2017 Conference “Mitten Strong – Bringing Care Home”. The future for home care and hospice in Michigan

is very positive and this year’s theme celebrates our state’s economic strength and your significant contribution to helping Mich-

igan seniors and the disabled to exercise their preferred choice to remain in their home as long as possible. Over the next thirty

five years, the need for your services and talent will grow substantially in similar proportion to the aging baby boomer popula-

tion and shorter hospital stays. With growth comes the challenge of a changing regulatory environment for home care and hos-

pice services as well as organization mergers and acquisitions. The MHHA Annual Conference will help you and your organi-

zation continue to thrive in Michigan’s leaner, stronger, and changing home care and hospice environment.

Register soon to get the lowest rates for the 2018 Annual Conference & Expo and book your room early to guarantee your stay

at the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in the center of downtown Grand Rapids convention and cultural center. MHHA

arranged a special room rate to make your stay more affordable and there is additional savings for organizations registering

multiple people.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in Grand Rapids.

Barry Cargill, President & CEO
