Subscribe today at saskatoon.ca/greencart! Green Carts offer convenient front-street collection of yard & food waste every two weeks from May 3 to November 7, 2018. Current black and blue cart customers are eligible for this service. Renew your subscription or register for the 2018 season by April 30 to be eligible for the early bird rate of $55! On May 1, the Green Cart fee will increase to $75. Registration is open until September 30. Food and yard waste isn’t garbage – they are valuable materials that can be used to improve our parks, community gardens, and other public green spaces. Green Carts accept food waste, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, eggs, coffee grounds/filters, and food soiled paper as well as yard waste like leaves and grass. There is no automatic renewal for the 2018 season and billing does not occur as part of your utility bill. If you want to continue to keep your green cart and collection service, you must renew and pay the seasonal fee. Please remember, all fees are non-refundable. Three ways to register or renew:

1. Use your credit card at saskatoon.ca/greencart,

2. Pay in person at City Hall, or

3. Mail cheques payable to the City of Saskatoon with a completed registration form to:

Once you register, you can find your collection day online at saskatoon.ca/collectioncalendar and register to receive convenient reminders by email, text or phone. Collection dates can also be found in the 2018 Waste & Recycling Calendar that was delivered to your home in December or download the new Saskatoon Waste & Recycling app. Cancellations: If you currently have a green cart and do not wish to renew your subscription for 2018, please e-mail greencart@saskatoon.ca or call 306-975-2486 to arrange a day for your cart to be picked up.
