The Young Enterprise Initiative - Start in France program, founded in 2005 by the Office for Science

& Technology of the French Embassy in the United States, is a startup accelerator organized by the

French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in partnership with Business France, Paris & Co, and

Hello Tomorrow. It is meant for young science-based companies interested in developing

partnerships and business in France and in Europe.

YEi - Start in France provides a personalized immersion week in France that includes training

sessions, networking and one-on-one meetings that allow each laureate to benefit from an extensive

customized scientific and business network in France, with connections to the best resources in

Europe.

The 2018 YEi program will gather twenty nine laureates from five different countries: Italy (7), Finland

(3), South Korea (3), Taiwan (6) and the United States of America (10). A large variety of tech sectors

will be represented: Medtech/Biotech (11 laureates), Information Technology and Internet of Things

(10 laureates), Cleantech (5 laureates), Robotics and Aerospace (3 laureates).

The laureates will be in France from November 5 to November 9, 2018. A brief description of each

laureate is provided below.
