So many times we have seen managers get promoted because of their technical capability and yet struggle with the transition to management. We spend months, and sometimes years, being trained and educated to fulfil our roles as technical experts and when we get promoted we seldom get an induction in to our new role. Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)


SMSTS is practical and engaging with a sharp construction focus. It covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture within the workforce. Certification for this course is valid for 5 years.

It will highlight the requirement to promote health and safety to supervise effectively. The certification for this course is valid for 5-years.

HABC Emergency First Aid at Work


Emergency First Aid at Work is designed to meet the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment. Topics include the role and responsibilities of a first aider, being able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, being able to manage a casualty with external bleeding and being able to manage a casualty with a minor injury.

This three-day qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become first-aiders in the workplace. This programme has been specifically developed with a strong bias towards practical learning. Designed for individuals requiring the basic skills necessary to audit areas of their own organisations’ management systems. Delegates will cover an introduction to Quality Assurance, Audit Preparation, Audit Techniques, Questioning Techniques, Listening, Reporting, Nonconformities and Corrective Action Programmes, Audit Follow-up and Close out. Understand the requirements of the new ISO 9001:2015 standard and its impact on the auditing process with this two-day interactive programme. Review & Report - Following the diagnosis stage we go back to base to review our findings. Our aim is to identify up to 5 measurable outcomes (which will have been discussed with you during the diagnosis discussions). Once have defined these targeted outcomes our design team will provide a high-level design proposal and recommendations for an outcome focussed solution for your specific needs. The report to you culminates in an

Implementation - This step refers to the design and delivery of the development or training programme/s following the diagnosis and report stages. This stage includes programme design, delivery and evaluation measures with a crosshair focus on

achieving the outcomes identified and achieving high levels of return on your investment.

Validation - This stage involves the monitoring and evaluation of outcomes on an ongoing basis, at both organisational and individual levels. It is also the culmination of all evaluation data we collect and is highly focussed on validating success against defined outcomes as well as recognising any unintended outcomes. Through this process we aim to identify and substantiate attitude/behaviour changes and business results that are linked to the development programme delivered.

Embed - It is our point of view that development programmes are only as good as the outcomes achieved by people and organisations as a result.
