How about a break from the Christmas rush for a family fun night? St. John’s PTO is having a Family Bowling Night at Laser Alleys in York.

Tickets must be purchased in advanced at www.laseralleys.com. From the website menu, select Store and then scroll down to the event. Questions? Contact [email protected]

Please be reminded that St. John’s will offer a Scholastic Book Fair which will be available during the Breakfast with Santa on Satur-day, Dec. 7th and continue

through Friday, December 13th. Books make wonder-ful Christmas gifts! Also, your purchases go toward new books for our library and classrooms.

On the school days, the fair will be open first thing every morning for purchases.

School Closings and Delays

In the event of inclement weather, we follow the Southern York County School District for delays and cancellations. We have built snow days into our schedule.

You may also check WBAL TV 8 for school closing commu-nication. Our closing will be listed under York County as St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Please note that this includes St. John’s Preschool and Little Angels. If the school district has a two hour delay, please continue to watch because sometimes they may decide to close at the last minute.

You will be notified directly through Notify which is our phone/email notification system.

You may also check the Preschool voicemail for delays or cancellations. A message will be posted on our voice mail (717) 235-3525 – extension 230 by approximately 7:00 a.m.

Little Angels Policy: If school closes due to inclement weather, Little Angels will be closed. If school has a two-hour delay, Little Angels will open at 9:30 am. If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, all children must be picked up within one hour of the elementary school dismissal or be subject to a late fee.
