Page 1 of 3 2019-2020 Honor Girl Scout Requirement List The Honor Girl Scout program recognizes Individual Girl Members (IGMs) at all age levels who experience a strong, balanced Girl Scout year. This program promotes girl/adult partnerships, girl planning, community service, and involvement. Honor Girl Scouts are recognized in Spirit of Nebraska online and print publications. Each girl will receive a signed Honor Girl Scout certificate and an Honor Girl Scout patch. Please use this document to track your accomplishments throughout the year. To apply for 2019-2020 Honor Girl Scout status, your application must be completed online at www.GirlScoutsNebraska.org/HonorTroop by June 30, 2020. This form is fillable for your convenience (Adobe Acrobat Reader is recommended). HONOR GIRL SCOUT REQUIREMENTS IGMs must complete all Required Items (1-9). IGMs must also complete Additional Items (10-32) as follows: Daisy IGMs must complete 5 additional items. Brownie and Junior IGMs must complete 7 additional items. Cadette, Senior, Ambassador IGMs must complete 9 additional items. An event or activity may only be used once. Complete chosen events and activities from the items below by June 30, 2020. Enter dates in the online application from our website by June 30, 2020. Late applications will not be accepted. REQUIRED ITEMS Specify the date accomplished in the space provided (MM/DD/YYYY) for each item. 1. The girl has at least one registered IGM mentor. Both the IGM and IGM mentor completed their membership registration online by 9/30/19. 2. The girl, along with her mentor, created a yearly calendar of activities and added it to her year plan in the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK). NOTE: As of Fall 2019, each primary caregiver of a currently registered IGM has troop leader-like access of the VTK for their girl(s). 3. The girl attended one or more of the following events: Our Earth, Our Future Kick Off Party Girl Scout Cookie Kick-Off Party 4. The girl participated in at least one council-sponsored Product Program with all paperwork completed and money deposited by the deadlines. Fall Product Program Girl Scout Cookie Program 5.     Daisy IGMs must complete 5 additional activities. Brownie and Junior IGMs must complete 7 additional activities. Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador IGMs must complete 9 additional items.
