Y  3/4 E    L  B   Jumping off a 15 metre tower and scaling a 15 metre ver cal wall, zipping along on an eight metre long wire cable across the valley, slipping and sliding down a steep hill on your tummy and dancing to disco lights and loud music. These were just some of the exci ng challenges the year 3 & 4 students were involved in on their overnight excursion to Lake Burrendong. They were taught how to use a bow and arrow and how to ski on grass down an enormous hill, they went rock wall climbing, on an amazing flying fox, sliding down a huge slip ’n’ slide covered in water and detergent with their last ac vity being the low ropes ini a ve course where they worked in groups of 3. One doing the rope course and the other two ac ng as safety spo ers assis ng their team member. Each ac vity was a new challenge for them and reinforced the importance of team work, co opera on and challenged them to step outside their comfort zone developing confidence and trust in their own capabili es.

Mrs Marrio spoke of the pleasure to accompany the friendly, happy and suppor ve stage 2 class from Cudal Public School. She thoroughly enjoyed their me together and would like to thank all those who made the excursion possible, especially Adam Osborne (School Chaplin), Mrs Chellas for organising, Mr Ralph Garlick for transpor ng us safely and Rachel Lake who joined us for the two days.
