ANZAC Day is the solemn day of remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who have fought and died for their country.

Thank you to our very competent leadership team, supported by Ms Whelan, for our solemn K-6 ANZAC Day Ceremony, held on Friday at 10am.

Balmain Public School will be laying a wreath at Loyalty Square, at the dawn service, on ANZAC Day.

a warm welcome to Mrs Helen LaMacchia, who has joined the Balmain family this week, as an SLSO, or School Learning Support Officer (just like Ms Ally). Ms Helen will be working with Kindergarten on Thursdays and Fridays.

You may recognise the name LaMacchia - Helen is related to Mr James LaMacchia, 5/6 Lamalama’s teacher. Helen is James’ mum.

Kindergarten looks forward to you working in the classroom with them!
