In addition to our regular volunteer team, 120 people assisted with cleanup efforts over the course of the season. SRDC is grateful to all of these volunteers who helped with a wide variety of tasks, especially with cleanup efforts aſter Hurricane Isaias. 27 ACRES OF GREENWAY MAINTAINED ENERGIZING THE RIVERFRONT SRDC worked with its partners to host 18 kayak tours and the free Exploring Our Urban Watershed program in 2020. Even though it was not able to host riverboat tours, movie nights, Fish Fest, and many other events due to COVID-19, the trail proved to be a valuable amenity for Philadelphians seeking safe outdoor spaces to recreate and relax during the pandemic and served a record-breaking 2,009,514 user trips in 2020. BUILDING THE BANKS Work is underway on the Schuylkill Crossing at Grays Ferry and Bartram’s to Passyunk Phase I.
