Take part in Penn Statersquos NewStudent Orientation designed to help prepare you for course selection and life as a Penn State student The program consists of an educational planning survey online placement test in math and a visit to campus to meet with an academic adviser and attend programming designed to help ease your transition to college
Online placement testing begins in early March and continues on a rolling basis through the summer
You will receive more information about taking the placement tests and scheduling your New Student Orientation after accepting your offer of admission Learn more about New Student Orientation at orientationpsuedu
Pay your semester bill Tuition billsare generated by the Office of the Bursar on June 1 for Summer Ses-sion and on August 1 for the fall semester and can be paid online through your LionPATH Student Center (lionpathpsuedu) When your bill is ready you will receive

admission is conditional upon your completionof all entrance requirements including gradu-ation from high school After graduation youmust send us an official high school transcriptverifying high school graduation Applicants mayalso submit satisfactory scores from the GeneralEducational Development (GED) test or a highschool equivalency diploma in place of a highschool diploma
bull World Language Two units in a single worldlanguage other than English are required Ameri-can Sign Language can be used to satisfy theWorld Language requirement A student may beadmitted with fewer than two units in a worldlanguage other than English but must correctthis deficiency by the time she graduates fromPenn State This deficiency may be corrected bypassing one three- or four-credit college-levelworld language course by earning transferablecredits from another institution or by demon-strating proficiency equivalent to two units ofhigh school world language study
