projects, protection of the state’s economic development incentives and programs that
keep the state competitive
Education and Workforce Development Encourage state education policymakers and
post-secondary institutions to adopt innovative and cutting edge programs and
practices to meet business needs for a skilled workforce.
Business-Friendly Environment Support expansion of Medicaid (KanCare) that
is revenue neutral and encourages personal responsibility.
Mental Health and Substance AbuseEncourage the legislature and administration to consider additional investments designed
to address the treatment of mental health and substance abuse in South Central Kansas.
Transportation and Infrastructure Preserve dedicated transportation funding
and ensure that South Central Kansas receives equitable distribution of
transportation funding to build and preserve the transportation infrastructure that is vital
to business and industry.
