Welcome to another proud first for CLEreg--our first hybrid annual conference! We invite you, your colleagues, and board members to participate in our conference from October 17 through 19, 2021, either in person in Washington, D.C., or virtually.

For those attending in person, we will meet at the beautiful Melrose Georgetown Hotel, a four-star, highly-rated venue. Or, if it better suits your needs, chose to join us virtually. This option allows each jurisdiction to blend their participation with some colleagues attending in person while others join remotely without the time and expense of travel.

During this annual conference, our speakers will present: • Insights on stand-alone credits, such as wellness, equity, diversity and inclusion, plus tips for evaluating course titles and content to determine a program’s credit worthiness, • Innovation ideas in working with course providers, featuring recommendations based on academic research and sponsor input, • Lessons learned as we retooled our programs and practices with “What’s New in Your State During the Pandemic”, and • Looking forward to MCLE’s future with “Hot Topics: Moving Through the Post-Pandemic CLE Regulator World.”

In a special opening presentation, we will mark CLEreg’s 35th anniversary. Also, as our members enjoy more time to engage with our colleagues across North America, our agenda includes two sessions featuring open directed discussions. Please join us for this outstanding opportunity to learn from each other and our stellar presenters!Sincerely, Karen Litscher JohnsonCLEreg President

CLEreg is the acronym for the Continuing Legal Edu-cation Regulators Associ-ation. Our group has been providing education and networking opportunities for regulators in Mandato-ry CLE jurisdictions since 1986. CLEreg also connects members via a listserv that provides invaluable day-to-day support from peers. We currently represent 46 mandatory CLE jurisdictions and welcome new and existing regulatory jurisdictions from around the world to join us. In most jurisdictions, regulatory duties include program accreditation and attorney record-keeping duties for CLE pro-gram attendance. CLEreg also maintains the MCLE Guide relating to rules and regulations of each jurisdiction. For more information, see our website at www.clereg.org.
