Technological Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship for Economic Development
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – Universitas Airlangga20 – 24 September 2021
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
TECH-SEED is a program adapted from ALN SEED and also the Local Community Empowerment (LUMINAIRe) program which was organized by Universitas Airlangga in 2020. This year, in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), this program was developed by adding technological aspects into it. The purposes of this program are contributing insight to local communities through student group discussion and project presentation, sharing knowledge and perception for participating students in solving problems as members of a community and offering both the local and international participants an opportunity to learn and experience more about community empowerment.
Technological Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship for Economic Development (TECH-SEED) is an international program conducted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universitas Airlangga. The program concentrates on technological innovation and social entrepreneurship in supporting the economic development and recovery of local communities during the global crisis. Advocators from three international alliances, the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net), ASEAN Learning Network (ALN), and Swiss–ASEAN Learning and Teaching (SALT) association will convene to deliver keynote speech on the topic and to facilitate further discussion among participants based on several case studies of local communities.
