The 207 is built on the basis of platform 1.

The maximum current permissible by the electrical motor (1) has risen to 82 A (65 A on1007), which requires locating the steering ECU (2) directly on the motor.

Tyre pressure detection

The ECU is located under the fascia.

Two low-frequency antennae located in the front wheel arch enable the ECU to

distinguish between the front and rear wheels.

The ECU distinguishes between the right and left wheels while driving by means of an

antenna integrated in the passenger compartment wiring harness.

Removal/assembly of wheel antilock radial targets.

The tools [1] and [3] are used to removethe target.

Removal destroys the wheel antilock radial target.

A new tool [6] and a hammer are used toreplace.

Removal of riveted lower ball-joints.

-Punch the head of the 3 rivets

-Pre-drill the rivet 3 to 4 mm (A).

-Drill the rivet 8 to 10 mm (B).
