Combined Summer Youth Service Project: On Friday, July 13, and Saturday, July 14, to help our own St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s communities with those who need help with their yards and simple projects they cannot do on their own! We need to get a list of youth, grades 7-12, who would like to help. We need adults and teens to build the groups. For more information, please call Renee at the parish office at 307-635-9261 ext. 2047.

Mass Schedule Changes Effective Saturday, June 30, and Sunday, July 1

Mass times will change to the following:

Saturday Masses 4:00, 6:00 pm Sunday Masses 8:00, 10:00 am, 12:00 noon, 5:00 pm

Saturday Confessions: 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:15 - 8:00 pm

Please note: Weekday Masses including the 7:30 am Saturday Mass will remain the same schedule as before.

This change will benefit our parish in many ways. This gives everyone a chance to pray and visit before or after Mass. The priests and ministries will have proper time to prepare. Celebrations will not be rushed, and sacraments can be better shared and experienced by the entire faith community. This change will also help with the parking issues before and after Masses. Mass Intentions will be affected by this change. If you have any questions or concerns, please stop by the parish office or call the parish office at 307-635-9261 ext. 2082.

th Anniversary of

Parish Nurse Update: The goals in treating Alzheimer’s disease (AD) are to slow the progression and manage the symptoms of behavioral problems, confusion, and sleep problems. It is

important to modify the home environment to make the AD person’s daily activities easier and help support them, the family and caregivers. Creating a safer home environment entails: 1.) Keeping keys, purses, wallets and cellphones in the same place. 2.) Have the person with AD carry a cellphone with them. Be sure it has important phone numbers programed into it and also has location capabilities. 3.) Try to schedule regular appointments on the same day at the same time and keep track of the dates on a calendar in the home. 4.) Remove any excess clutter, extra furniture and throw rugs. 5.) Keep pictures of family and friends and meaningful possessions around the house. Small things like these can help the person with AD strengthen their regular habits and decrease memory demands on them. It is important for families and caregivers to become well informed about AD. There are programs and support groups that teach families and caregivers about AD to help them find respite, share concerns and experiences, and receive emotional support. (medlineplus/ency4/30/2018&MayoClinic/disease/alzheimer’s/Diagnosis) For questions on this or other health issues, call us at 307-635-9261 ext. 2020. Blessings! Flossie Vance, Parish Nurse
