We are pleased to invite you to join us once again in London, UK, for the Charing Cross International Symposium 2020, the leading vascular symposium where education, innovation and evidence come together.
The CX Symposium continues its three-year cycle of raising vascular and endovascular controversies in order to challenge the available evidence and be able to reach a consensus after discussion with an expert audience.
This year, our world-class faculty focuses on reaching consensus in all aspects of the management of vascular disease. In 2020, we introduce a new session, Major Vascular Trauma, including talks on aortic, pelvis and extremity, and neck trauma.
The programmes for the Aortic, Peripheral Arterial, Venous & Lymphatic, Acute Stroke, Vascular Access and iWounds have been designed in sequence rather than in parallel so that CX attendees can maximise their participation in their favourite educational track.
We look forward to welcoming you to CX 2020!
Roger Greenhalgh, on behalf of the CX Executive Board

What makes CX so special...
CX offers the unique opportunity to combine expert knowledge in every field of vascular surgery and the newest technologies. Accordingly, in 2020 the Acute Stroke sessions
will focus on technical innovation in carotid artery stenting, cerebrovascular disease and concomitant atherosclerotic diseases, carotid artery aneurysms as well as carotid body
tumours. Speakers from all disciplines involved in carotid artery disease will participate and share their expert knowledge. We look forward to welcoming you to London!
Barbara Rantner, CX Acute Stroke Executive Board member
The theme for CX 2020 is consensus and with ongoing debate about the appropriate use of drug-eluting technology for peripheral arterial disease, EVAR, superficial and deep venous
procedures and other interventions, there is no better time to bring specialists together to create
unity. CX 2020 promises to tackle the most difficult topics with a combination of plenary sessions,
cases and hands-on workshops with a high calibre international Faculty demonstrating the latest
technologies. The importance of chronic wounds is given due prominence with an expanded iWounds
programme and workshops. The Symposium promises to be the most multidisciplinary and
comprehensive in the history of CX!
Manj Gohel, CX Venous & Lymphatic Executive Board member
There are two important features of every CX Symposium that I always enjoy – the release and evaluation of new data and the honest and objective assessment of current
controversies in vascular disease. In CX 2020, both features will be particularly prominent with a programme full of important new trial results that will be analysed and discussed. Key opinion leaders will tackle a number of controversies and, as always, the vascular
community in the audience will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to reach a consensus. In the last year, we have seen unrivalled data and controversy and there is no
better place to access the latest updates than CX 2020.
