Conference overviewThis four-day extensive review of multiple systems in anatomic pathology will allow anatomic pathologists to become for proficient in different fields of pathology. The didactic presentations from leading national experts in the field of pathology will provide in-depth discussions of problems in diagnoses that practicing pathologists face in their hospitals in day-to-day activities while the seminar will help residents and fellows with their specialty boards.
Intended Audience and Conference objectivesThis seminar is intended primarily for practicing pathologists, fellows, residents and other health care professionals.
At the conclusion of this seminar, participants should be able to:• demonstrate improvement in diagnostic skill in problematic areas of anatomical
pathology• identify, classify and differentiate benign, premalignant and malignant lesions in
different organs• apply special immunostains and molecular testing in the evaluation of non-neoplastic
and neoplastic diseases• communicate results effectively with the clinician and better appreciate the importance
of clinicopathologic correlation

The seminar will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of the most beautiful cities in the country. It’s revitalized downtown and excellent neighborhoods have earned Pittsburgh recognition as one of the most livable cities in the country. The seminar will take place at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel, located a bridge away from Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle. Downtown and other areas can be reached by trolley, just a few yards from the hotel, which is located in the renowned Station Square, one of the nicest areas of Pittsburgh with some of the finest restaurants. Also located there is the Gateway Clipper Fleet which offers sightseeing, dining and dancing cruises.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel at $169 + tax for single/double occupancy.

driving directionsFrom the pittsburgh International AirportTake 60 South (Pittsburgh) to Interstate 279 North to Exit 5-C (West End). Bear right and continue for approximately one mile. At the second light, turn right onto Carson Street (Route 837). The hotel is approximately 1.5 miles on the left. From the eastTake Interstate 376 West to the Grant Street Exit (1C). Turn left at the first light onto Fort Pitt Boulevard. Stay in the left lane and go one block to Smithfield Street. Turn left at the light onto the Smithfield Street Bridge, and the Station Square entrance is at the end of the bridge. From the northTake Interstate 79 South to I-279 South to Fort Pitt Bridge. Stay in the far right lane and exit 5-C (West End) just before the tunnel. This will put you on Carson Street. (Route 837).Turn right at the first light and follow the access road to the hotel. From the southTake Route 79 North to I-279 North (Pittsburgh). Take Exit 5-C (West End) and bear to the right. Continue for approximately one mile and at the second light, turn right onto Carson Street (Route 837). The hotel is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
