Dear Parents/Carers,

The St John Paul II Catholic College Musical team wishes to inform you that plans and rehearsals have

begun for the 2021 College Musical. The team and community have gained many positive experiences

from the past musicals, and are very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our students again in

2021.

As you may be aware, your child has successfully auditioned for our musical, and so will be a part of the

2021 team of performers. Congratulations!

In order to secure their position in the 2021 musical we are asking for your support in helping the students

to commit fully to the project through attending all rehearsals and performances, both within and outside

of school hours. While most of the rehearsals will occur during school hours, it is necessary to conduct

some rehearsals outside of the school day.

The rehearsal and performance dates are outlined in the attached Information & Contract notice.

While we understand that there are special circumstances which may prevent your child from being able

to attend a particular rehearsal, we do require a high level of commitment and most of all communication

regarding any obstacles which may prevent your child from attending a specific rehearsal. This will

enable the musical team to work with you and your child to make any necessary changes during our

musical preparations.

In order to secure your child’s position in the musical, we ask that you make note of the

rehearsal/performance dates in your calendar and return the Contract/Permission note as indicated.
