Reading Workshop:-New read aloud: Mercy Watson-Practice and sharing of decoding strategies-Small group word work and strategy practice

Writing Workshop/Word Study:-Continued Personal Narrative-Strategies for spelling unknown words to help us and our reader’s better understand our writing=write the first sound, slide your finger under what you wrote and listen to the next sound, continue to slide finger and write each sound.-We wrote a class personal narrative about going to the pumpkin patch last week. -Review and assessment of syllable knowledge-Introduction to blends (cereal) and digraphs (chocolate milk)-review of what sentences include

Math Workshop:OA. 1. Use addition and subtraction 0-10 (eventually get to 0-20) to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.

-Part/Part/Whole using number bonds

If you are looking for something to practice at home:
