Wine Seminar 2005 Burgundy (Volnay and Montrachet)Master of Wine (and Burgundy specialist) Clive Coates wrote two years ago when tasting the 2005 Burgundies: "Now ten years old, the red wines are well deserving of all the bally-hoo they engendered at the outset. Few past vintages come close. Perhaps the nearest is 1999. The relative shortness of the 2005 crop can be seen in the concentration of the wines. They also have depth, finesse, harmony and the potential to last. What more do you want?" Join our Master Somm team for a rare tasting of five Volnay Premier Cru Reds from the magnificent 2005 vintage (Jean Marc Boillot, Henri Boillot, Nicolas Rossignol, Louis Jadot) and three 2005 white Burgundy's from Montrachet - Domaine Vincent Giradin Chassagne Montrachet Les Blanchots 1er Cru, Domaine Paul Perno Puligny-Montrachet Les Folarieres 1er Cru and Domaine Camille Girous Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru.(WS7) 12:30 to 1:30 pm / The Santa Fe Community Convention Center / (35 ppl) $125
