I started with a study of a jal i moving on to the city as a jali. Then studied var ious openings to create the fabric of the city and capture the character of the c i ty be ing dense yet open. The sound quality of the location was selected and the selected node had different sound densit ies which al lowed me to

have multiple openings with different modulations. Program selected was an Institute and a Library.I started my study with a cube having grills in all axis with different layers which acted as a jali in all dimensions. Then I worked with different modules and worked out my openings and tried to create a jali within a jali trying to create an Openness In Density relating to the fabric of the city.
