The One New Man Bible is an accurate translation of the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Scriptures and an accurate translation of the 4th Edition UBS Greek New Testament text.

TheThe One New Man Bible translates words that many other translations either do not translate or do not translate correctly. Some are words that lexicons and Bible dictionaries miss.

Rabbi Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, a conservative Jewish rabbi, was eager to help in this project because he said English-speaking Christians needed a more accurate Bible.

TheThe goal in devoting so many years to this project is Truth over Tradition, since many Hebrew and Greek words are often translated by tradition. The One New Man Bible strives to translate all correctly, valuing truth over tradition.

The contribution already made to the church by the rev. Bill Morford in his translation of the One New Man Bible is immense. I have known Bill for more than 15 years and was blessed beyond measure to serve as his pastor in Kingdom Life Church in Columbia, South Carolina until Bill and his wife Gwen moved to another part of the state. To this day, I continue to draw upon truths he discovered through his meticulous scholar-ship and utilize them frequently in my own preaching and writing.

Companion Two is the sequel to One New Man Bible Companion, in a similar pattern, but all new articles. The Word of God is so deep that more books will be forthcoming.

The second article in this is titled Heroines because even with many women in ministry today, there is still resistance to women in ministry in some quar-ters. There are many examples throughout Scripture of women in leadership, with a great many examples in the New Testament.

In Companion Two you will see references to ONMB, meaning One New Man Bible, and Companion, meaning the previous Companion to One New Man Bible. There are subjects in those books that are touched on in this book, explored in a different vein here. Having all three books will be helpful. This is a series, so by the time Companion Two is in print Companion Three will be in progress. The Bible is such a rich source, the subject will never be exhausted.

Creation

Genesis 1.1. In (the) beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2. And the earth was totally empty, devoid of all life, (Jer. 4:23) both animal and plant; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God hovered, brooded, over the face of the waters.

First the heavens were created out of nothing by a command of God. The word translated “Created” Bara means to create something from nothing; the heavens were made solely by a command from God. What were the Heavens before the sun, moon, and stars were created? See an article on that in the chapter Mysteries. read Before the Beginning of Our World by don Cobble to understand the time between creating the heavens and creating the earth. Then Earth was created out of nothing, by a command of the LOrd*.

Darkness

The Earth was created in darkness: Genesis 1:3. And God said, “Light, Be!” And there was light. 4. And God saw the light, that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. 5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, day one.

Exodus 14:19. And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, re-moved and went behind them, and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face and stood behind them. 20. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel and it was a cloud and darkness to them (Egyptians),

but it gave light by night to these (children of Israel) so that the one did not come near the other all night.

deuteronomy 5:20. “And it was, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain burned with fire, that you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes, and your elders 21. and you said, ‘Behold, the LORD* our God has shown us His glory and His greatness and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God does talk with man, and He lives. 22. Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us if we hear the voice of the LORD* our God any more, then we will die. 23. For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the Living God speaking out of the midst of the fire as we have, and lived? 24. Draw near and hear all that the LORD* our God will say and speak to us everything that the LORD* our God will speak to you and we will hear it and do it.’

Darkness, Another Something God can control, defying Natural Laws:

Exodus 10:22. (9th) And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. 23. They did not see one another, nor could anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

darkness fell on all Egypt, except Goshen where the children of Israel lived. That shows there had to be a sharp line at the border! How could that be? But it was.

This Darkness was during both night and day for three days.

Extraordinary Darkness happened when Y’shua died on the cross:

Matthew 27:45. And it became dark upon all the Earth from the sixth hour until the ninth hour.

Mark 15:33. And when it was the sixth hour it became dark upon the whole Earth until the ninth hour.

Luke 23:44. And it was now about the sixth hour and it became dark on the whole Earth until the ninth hour 45. as the sun was darkened, and the veil in the middle of the Sanctuary was split.

Some have related this darkness to an eclipse, but that could not be the rea-son. First this Darkness was on the whole earth, not just a seventy-mile-wide path, second because the Darkness lasted three hours while an eclipse lasts only a few minutes and that Darkness is like dusk, not as Dark as night. Some like to explain away miracles, but miracles cannot be explained. That is why they are called miracles.

Power Carried by Y’shua is Power that resides in all those who are totally committed to the LOrd*.

Luke 5:17. Then it happened on one of the days that He was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of Torah (Teaching) were sitting listening. They were com-ing from every region of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem: and the Power of the Lord was in Him to heal.

Power of the Lord is Power of the LORD*, while the pronoun Him refers to Y’shua. That Power lives in each believer, but few know how to use it.

John 5:19. Therefore Y’shua was answering and was saying to them, “Most assur-edly I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything by Himself except what He would see the Father doing: for whatever that One would do, then the Son likewise does these things.

You do not have Power. It is only as you die to self that the LOrd* in you can perform the miracle that you need, whether that is for yourself or for someone for whom you are praying. That Power is resident in you, but you must die to self to use it.

John 17:17. You must now make them holy by means of the truth: Your Word is truth. 18. Just as You sent Me into the world, I sent them into the world: 19. and I consecrate Myself to You on their behalf so that they would also have been consecrated by the truth. 20. “I do not ask concerning them only, but also concerning those who believe in Me because of the disciples’ message, 21. so that all would be one, just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also would be in Us, so that the world would believe that You sent Me.

The LOrd* and Y’shua are in each believer, so the Power resides in you! This is Kingdom Teaching.
