Youth Staff­ How to add a picture to your page’s header slideshow

1.  Login to the site2.  Go to “+ new” on the top left, select “slideshow”

3.  Choose a title for your new image­This has the option of being visible, so name carefully ifyou want it to show!

 4.  On the bottom of the right column, choose “Set Featured image”

5.  Choose upload file, and upload your selected image from your computer

6.  if needed, edit your image to the correct height before accepting image (scale image to aheight of 200­300 pixels). Otherwise, skip to step 7.

6a.  Choose “Scale image”

6b.  Change the Height box to a number between 200­300 (300 will fill the entire Headertop to bottom.)  The other box will automatically change to the correct value.

6c.  Click “save” and then “update”

6d.  Close this browser window to get back to the original “insert media” page7. Click on the  “Set featured image” button

8. Add subtext and another pic in the text area if desired

9. Choose options settings for placement of your slideshow.  Use the settings as listed, orchoose other settings to vary the final look of your slide.  Feel free to experiment.  Here is whereyou will decide whether your title will be displayed or hidden.

10.  If you want the ability to go to another page on a click, enter the new page’s URL here, andclick the “Link whole slide” option.
