First UMC is looking for a new

Director of Youth Ministries.

Do you have a heart to work with middle school

and high school youth? We are looking for a

creative individual who can take our vision for a

growing, relevant, life changing youth program

and create environments where students want to

be. The Youth Ministries Director should be

outgoing yet calm and cool-headed, be a good

listener and someone who will support and guide

our youth with a contagious faith in

Christ. Experience, preferably with large group/

small group organizational skills, is preferred.

The SPRC committee would love to talk to you!

Resumes can be sent to [email protected] by

May 5, 2013 please.

For more information on this ministry opportunity

“Jesus Among the World Religions”

-a sermon series by Pastor Chris Owens

April 28—“A Look at Buddhism” (Romans 8:18, 28 & Philippians 4:6-7)

May 5—“A Look at Islam” (Genesis 21:9-20)

May 12—“A Look at Judaism” (Genesis 12:1-3; 15:5-6)

May 19—“Christianity Reconsidered” (John 3:16-21)

Together, we’ll look at:

What do the other world religions teach and practice?

Why is it important for Christians to know about them?

Why are there so many different religions?

How do Jesus and our Christian faith stand out?
