In the frame of the School above will be held (as Section 3) the Workshop on Epistemological Aspects of Quantum Physics, Cosmology and Gravity Theory dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the prominent Austrian physicist Peter Aichelburg. The Workshop will take place at the BITP from September 18 till September 20, 2017. The morning sessions will consist of mainly review talks on major topics of the field, while in the afternoon sessions short talks will be given on current research topics.

Proceedings will be published by the TIMPANI Publishing House and some selected talks will appear in the Ukrainian Journal of Physics.
The 3-rd Walter THIRRING International School on Fundamentals of Astroparticle and Quantum Physics will be organized by the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics (BITP) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Vienna University, Vienna University for Technology, Austro-Ukrainian Institute for Science and Technology (Austria), Walter Thirring International Institute for Mathematical Physics, Astrophysics and Nuclear Investigations (TIMPANI, Ukraine); and supported by the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
