 On April 21st, 2015, Google will be releasing a major search engine algorithm change specifically for mobile search. The change will positively affect those sites that have a mobile friendly site.   What is a mobile friendly site? 

  A mobile friendly site is a site that responds differently when visited from a mobile device compared to visiting from a desktop. The new Google algorithm change will give mobile enhanced sites an immediate boost in SEO for mobile searches.   Below are 3 steps to ensure your site is ready for this major Google search engine change:     

1. Determine if Your Site is Mobile Friendly a. Use Google’s tool to check.

 b. If it is, make sure there are no image, CSS or Javascript errors. Use the 

below Google Speed test to make additional changes to improve your mobile site: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ 

c. If it isn’t, move to the additional steps.  

2. Make your Website Mobile Friendly  

a. Responsive websites are best. These are the sites that automatically change when viewing from a desktop to mobile.
