You may submit an appeal for another RP course you are interested in. It is important to note that admission to courses in RP is based on academic merit and available vacancies at the point of posting. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements (MER) or the aggregate score but this does not guarantee applicants will be successful during the posting process. These requirements are set in place to ensure fairness to all applicants.

If you have appealed for a course that you have not met the MER or the last aggregate scores, you may be contacted for a further evaluation in the form of interview/test to assess your suitability for the course which you have applied for. Note that the outcome of your appeal is dependent on your academic results and available vacancies during the academic year.

You will be considered to have withdrawn your appeal should you be uncontactable or if you fail to turn up for your scheduled interview/test.

To appeal for another course in RP, you can:

1. Submit an application through the appeal exercise conducted for Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE),

OR

2. Submit an application through RP’s online application portal via the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE).

NOTE:• If your JAE appeal is successful,

your original course offer would no longer be valid. Otherwise, if your appeal is unsuccessful, your original JAE course offer would remain.

• You are not allowed to hold on to more than one (1) DAE course offer at any one time. If you are holding on to an existing placement offered to you through DAE, you will need to reject the offer before you can appeal for an course through DAE alternative.
