Welcome to Ms. Echevarria’s 3 rd Grade Class! Dear Parent/Guardian, Welcome back to a new, exciting school year! I hope you all had a wonderful summer! I am super excited to announce that I will be your child’s teacher this year! I have a true passion for children and teaching. Your child will not only learn academic lessons in my classroom, but also how to be kind, respectful, and loving. I promise to love and care for your child as if he/she were my own! I promise you I will do everything I can to to make your child’s school year be as safe, fun, exciting, and productive as possible! My goal is for your child to be excited to learn and become a life-long learner! I look forward to working collaboratively with you to ensure your child has a great school yearpossible ! I truly believe parent-teacher collaboration is a key factor in your child’s success. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me via phone, email, or letter. Each day your you child will be sent home with a green folder. This folder will contain a weekly schedule, homework assignments, graded papers, and all other important documents that I may need to send to you. This folder will also contain a monthly calendar. This is where your child’s behavior will be tracked. Each day, a color will be recorded for your child’s behavior. This must be initialed and sent back to me every day. More information about my classroom rules, rewards, and consequences will be attached. My classroom rules are set in place to keep your child safe.
