    Introduction:

SABIC Lab.in King Saud University is from the best labs in the Kingdom and it

has advanced devices. Some of them are Transmission Electron Microscopy

and Analytical Scanning Electron Microscop and we will talk about them in

    this report.

the main applications of each engineering work:Automobile parts, windshields for fighter planes, pipes, tanks, packing materials,

insulation, wood substitutes, adhesives, matrix for composites, and elastomers are all

polymer applications used in the industrial market.

Relation of our course:If we know the properties we can know where it is possible to use it.

That why we take enlarged photo for polymer in these devices and westudy this course to know what is the properties of materials.

    Analytical Scaning Electron Microscop:

A scanning electron microscope (Scanning electron microscope (SEM Vezodna images

of stereoscopic amazing like you see in the image to. No need to cut the sample into segments inorder to see them, but enough to spray paint the metal is thin. Sends a beam of electrons over

the sample surface, pushing the paint on the metalrelease barrage of electrons towards

the fluorescent screen orphotographic plate, giving a picture of the surface of the thing.scanning

electron microscopes can enlarge objects up 100,000

times, but can not be used to view a live sample, as is the

case for the electron microscope in force.

The word microscope scanner that does

not photograph the sampleonce, but the concentration

of beam electrons on a small spot of the sample and pick

up the image and then move to a nearby pointand pickthem up, and so sequential. Valmjhr do not get the image

of the entire sample, but picked

up point after point. This can be modified or

increased time Aladhae capture a weak

spot lighting.Through a computer program "Software"

brings comic points to form the final image for the full sample on a computer screen.

    Transmission Electron Microscopy :

which symbolizes his short TEM is a technique microscope is used where a beam of electrons carried

out through a sample high-Raqqa, where he spoke the interaction between them during the passage,

which leads to the emergence of a picture is subject to theprocess of amplification and a focus on imaging devices such as

screens fluorinated or on photographic film or camera to be

    measured with a dual-shipment CCD.

The electron microscopes window with higher resolution than

optical microscopes as a result of small physical wave of the

electrons, which enables the user to examine the details of the

sample accurately to the point of a row of atoms in such a way is

ten thousand times zoom capability compared with the optical

microscope. Represents the electron microscope TEM force

means essential in the analysis of many branches of natural

sciences such as materials science and semiconductor research

as well as life sciences, such as the study of viruses and cancer

    research.

Built the first electron microscope in force by the German

engineers Max Knoll Max Knoll and Ernst Ruska in 1931.
