FoMW4 DAY VULTURE PHOTOGRAPHY – ALINYÀ

In this program you spent 4 days on location in Alinyà combining other photography activities with 1 intense vulture photography day from our main hide. We expect you to photograph all 4 European vultures: Griffon vulture, Black vulture, Lammergeier or Bearded vulture and Egyptian vulture (Egyptian vulture comes from March till September). During winter the Golden Eagle is also often present at the feeder. A part of the main hide session, we also spent time on taking you around the Alinyà mountains, for experiencing a Chamois safari or a session in our Passerines hide. The evenings are filled with a nice local dinner, followed by image discussions and presentations. This programe is guided by Francesc Muntada or Sebastian Vervenne.
Starting at € 635 per person, this price is based on a group of 4 people.
- €635 per person for a group of 3 people. - €850 per person for a group of 2 people. - €1100 for 1 person.
Including:
- 2 nights at Alinyà, based on shared rooms. - Meals: morning coffee, packed breackfast for in hide, packed lunch for in hide, dinner at restaurant. - Guidance by Francesc Muntada or Sebastian Vervenne, and Aleix Millet. - Use of hide and photography permits for protected species. - Local transport in and around Alinyà.
Excluding:
- Flights. - Airport taxi, we can arrange you a pick-up and drop-off at Barcelona airport or anywhere in Catalunya. - Personal Expenses. - Alcoholic drinks, although wine is served with dinner.
FoMWFirst day
1. Arrival to Alinyà in the afternoon. 2. Drive around the area with a local ornithologist. 3. Dinner and sleep at Ca la Lluïsa or apartment.
Second day
1. Coffee, tea and small snack. 2. Transfer to the main hide. 3. All day stay in the hide with pic-nic breakfast and lunch. - Guidance during your stay at the hide. - Continuous information of the species approaching the hide via SMS or WhatsApp. 4. Pick up at the hide and transfer to the accomodation. 5. Small rest and dinner. 6. Projection and impressions about the pictures you took during the day. 7. Sleep.
Third day
1. Coffee, tea and small snack. 2. Transfer to the main hide. 3. All morning stay in the hide with pic-nic breakfast. - Guidance during your stay at the hide. - Continuous information of the species approaching the hide via SMS or WhatsApp. 4. Lunch at Ca la Lluïsa. 5. Afternoon on demand: Passerines hide, driving around the area, hiking...
Third day
1. Complete breakfast at Ca la Lluïsa. 2. 3 hours of Birdwatching around the area with a professional ornithologist. 3. Lunch at Ca la Lluïsa.

Photography
- We advice telephoto lenses, but since the vultures come this close to the hide, lenses starting at 300mm will be sufficient.
- Tripod and tripod head able to be demounted, so you can screw it at the special antivibration platform provided in the hide.
- Take enough memory cards and somewhere to backup images.
3- Eventhough you might visit Alinyà in summer season, it stays Pre-Pyrenees landscape, so it is advisable to take warm clothes.
- Mountain shoes.
- It is possible to book extra nights before or after the desired program at Ca la Lluïsa or at the apartment.
