Conference General Session
• “Fiesta Familiar” is a day-long conference held in Salinas California, to bring education and information to Spanish speaking families with family members with disabilities in the Monterey County area.
• About 190 people in attendance this year

Conference Goals…
• To develop leadership and provide education and information to Spanish speaking families with family members with disabilities.
• To give Spanish speaking families the opportunity to meet and learn about services and resources.
• To gain skills and knowledge so that they can better respond to the needs of their family members with disabilities.
Bringing Underserved Communities on Board
Parents in collaboration with service agencies and professionals have jointly developed leadership by bringing education and information to the Spanish speaking community in Monterey County.
