Globalization is claimed to have a positive impact on a number of third world countriesbecause it is considered able to provide a much better life, however, for the anti-globalizationgroup this activity is precisely considered as a form of exploitation of the third world countries.Globalization for Indonesia also had a positive impact as well as the negative impact, one of thenegative impact is the emergence of global demand in privatized many state enterprises. Thisstudy uses a qualitative method, in which the source of research data obtained from observationsand interviews with informants, in addition, this study also used a variety of secondary data as asupplement, such as documents and news. Based on the research that has been done, the researcherswere able to convey that globalization suppress or prosecute the third world countries, in order toreduce the state’s role in the field of political economy, and submit it to the market mechanism, butprivatization and free trade are not fully free the third world country from the backwardness.

The Influence of the Quality of Regional Head Candidates towards PoliticalParticipation of Society in the Local Election

The local elections are the means of leadership succession in the regions held by the principlesof democracy by involving the public directly as constituents. In the local elections, the politicalparticipation of the people is influenced by the quality of prospective head region as a candidate inlocal elections. Qualified prospective regional heads are expected to significantly affect the politicalparticipation of the people who choose it. But in local elections in several regions, the regional headof quality candidates did not significantly affect the political participation of the people, even inlocal elections in several regions occurred lowering the level of political participation of the peopletargeted by the Commission. It is influenced by several factors, among others, administrative factors,technical factors, political factors and factors of a rational calculation constituents.

Behavior of Ojek Motorbikes Driver at Base While Waiting Passengers(Case Study in Village Dago, Bandung City)

Transportation is a necessity for human life that must be fulfilled, as part of a social life thatrequires the need for transportation. Transportation many forms and kinds such as those based onmini bus cars, buses and also a two-wheeled motorcycle called the motorcycle. Like motorcycles,as one of the forms of transportation tool that brings a lot of influence for the people who certainlyinfluence here is easier, cheaper and faster in delivering passengers so that motorcycle taxi (ojek)are in great demand on the public. This ojek transportation has certainly brought and become animportant part in the life of Indonesian society and has brought a change of attitude in interpretingthe motorcycle taxi for the life of the community. Looks ojek for the people and the nation whohave long had cultural roots and the ability to bring motorcycles to develop also with progress basedon information technology owned by the people of todays nation. The problem in this study is tosee how the motorcycle taxis behavior in the base area is waiting for passengers. The method usedin this study is a qualitative method, the results of the study found that the behavior of motorcycletaxi drivers on the base while waiting for passengers is to chat with fellow motorcycle taxi(ojek)drivers, watching television that is usually in the base, play android mobile phone and also someattitude ready to wait for passengers.

Android Communication: Social Behavior Study to College StudentsAndroid User

Communication is an important part that must be lived in peoples lives. Students who alwaysdo online bring to college students who are part of people indicated as a group that has an impacton globalization. The globalization that engulfs college students leads to who are closely related tocollege students who carry one side of communication is an important part of the college studentswho need to communicate with the community that surrounds the college students so that theybecome understanding people. The review looks at the activity on campus that does the behaviorwith android. Problems that want to see how the college student behavior in communicating viaandroid in smartphone. The method used in this study is the qualitative method by observingthe students in question. The results of the study showed that communication and behavior beenconducted by students who play mobile phones are silent with their own android and there are alsobusy amid crowds of people without realize the presence of people around. There is also a vigilantwhile busy with android they are also busy with the presence of others who will know what they arealways busy again.

New Equity Issuers’ Stock Performance and Earnings Management

This study proposes the ”issue-by-performance” hypothesis, suggesting that firms are likely toconsider their past stock performance before they conduct new equity issues. In this context, firmstend to suspend equity financing if they perform poorly after the previous issue. Using a sample ofidentifying the frequencies of firms’ new issues, we find that good stock performance does drivefirms to reissue equity. Frequent issuers perform well after the first few issues but poorly followingthe last issue. These results support the hypothesis. We also hypothesize that firms would inflateearnings to obtain more funds when they cannot meet market expectations or anticipate a decreasein growth. However, this action would result in poor post-issue peformance, blocking firms fromreissuing equity. We call this argument the ”fund-hoarding” hypothesis. The results show that firmsmanage earnings aggressively around the last issue but not around other issues, consistent with thishypothesis.

A Survey on Device-to-Device Communication for 5G Networks

In device-to-device (D2D) communication, user equipments (UE)/devices are able to directlycommunicate with each other or minimal use of base station (BS)/Evolve Node B (eNodeB). Thearrival of new applications such as context aware services, location aware advertisement, nearbycontent distribution provides new direction for D2D communication in 5G communication system.D2D communication not only increases the spectral efficiency, energy efficiency and overall networkthroughput but also reduces the communication delay between devices. In the other hand, D2Dcommunication creates interference to cellular users (CU) that reduces the quality of service over thenetwork. There are several open research problem in D2D with respect to 5G networks: interferencecontrol, resource allocation for CU and D2D users, device centric architecture. There are more thanfive hundred papers on D2D communication but limited paper on D2D communication for the 5Gnetworks. Therefore, in this paper we present a survey over device-to-device communication for 5Gnetworks. In addition, we also cover the possible future research direction for the 5G networks andalso discussed the open research problems for D2D communication for the 5G networks.

Review Design Of Two-Stage Cmos Opamp

In this paper, we have presented different circuit techniques for review design of low powertwo-stage CMOS operational amplifiers employing Miller capacitor in conjunction with the common-gate current buffer. The main objective of this paper is to design low power, high gain and fullydifferential operational amplifiers with proper compensation techniques. All the designs had beendone using Cadence UMC 180nm and gpdk 90nm models. Design objective to operate lower thanstandard supply voltage (1.8V and 1V) respectively. Achievement of high gain around 70 dB, Lowpower dissipation typically 28uW and 60 degree phase margin for stable closed loop operationswere the primary goal. Designing, simulation and comparisons of various performance parametershad been done using Cadence. All kind of analysis including transient, AC, has been done and acomparison had been done on the basis of performance metrics.

Object Detection and Positioning using Fast Spiral Search

Object detection and localization are very important in computer vision, especially for in-dustrial applications such as fiducial detection and defect inspection. When target objects appearin random locations, scales and rotations, the image matching task becomes difficult. In this pa-per, we present a fast machine vison scheme for object detection and positioning using the spiralsearch. The proposed method is edge-based, and involves two phases: object search, and objectverification. A spiral look-up-table (LUT) is off-line constructed that records the distance androtation angle of each spiral point in the sequence. In the object search phase, the scale ratio androtation angle between a template edge point and a scene edge point can be evaluated very fastfrom the spiral LUT in a low-resolution image. In the object verification, the similarity between acandidate instance and the template is calculated also using the spiral LUT to verify the true targetobject in the original resolution level. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated byits applications to fiducial-mark detection in printed-circuit board (PCB) manufacturing. Experi-mental results reveal that the proposed method is very effective, and is computationally very efficient.

A New Fuzzy Decision Making Approach for Siting a Solid Waste EnergyProduction Plant

Any expired materials that we need to remove from our environment are called solid waste.Solid wastes can occur at home, at school, at the hospital, in the industry, in the gardens, and inmany other places and it includes of everyday items such as product packaging, grass clippings,furniture, clothing, bottles, food scraps, newspapers, appliances, paint and batteries. Increasingpopulation, urbanization and industrialization increase the amount of solid waste generated rapidlyand it is becoming a bigger problem for cities of developing countries. For this reason solid wasteenergy production is become a very popular and important issue. Although not yet reached thedesired level, there are many facilities in the world that generate energy from waste and meeta large part of the local energy needs in particular. In this paper a new fuzzy decision makingapproach is applied to select the best location for the construction of a solid waste energy plant inthe Krkkale city that is located in the middle of Anatolia. Alternative plant location and criteria aredefined from the expert opinions and literature. Case study is consist of two main phase. In firststage ; Analytic Hierarchy process (AHP) method is used for determination of criteria weights andsecond stage a new fuzzy multi criteria decision making method is used for defining the best location.
