5 – YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

2020 – 2025

Pinal County presents it’s 2020 Capital Improvement (CIP) for Budget Years 2020/2021 through 2024/2025. The CIP is Pinal County’s planning

tool that identifies potential projects identified in the CIP are transportation infrastructure, flood control, facilities and airport planning

efforts.

Pinal County uses the CIP as a guide to prepare future needs, establish project priorities, and make informed financial decisions that ensure the

prudent use of public funds. Planning for these capital projects maximizes the potential to obtain alternative funding and minimizes

financial impacts.

The CIP is updated annually and posted on the Pinal County website under the Public Works Department: www.pinalcountyaz.gov

The purpose: Planning tool that identifies potential

funding and establishes tentative schedule for pinal county infrastructure projects

Coordinate effort that eliminates or minimizes the relocation of facilities by impacted utilities

Once posted to the website, Pinal County will be complying with State statue and provide notice to utilities impacted by projects.
