5 activities your students should complete and submit in dyknow
TRANSCRIPT
Ditch paper.
submit panels.
Submitting panels can save you
time and paper. But sometimes
we forget even the simplest
activities can be expedited with
the Panel Submission feature.
Here are a few ways you can
make your life easier by having
students submit panels to you.
muddiestpoint1.
Give students two or three
minutes to answer the
following question:
What were you most
confused about from
today’s lecture/class?
Use the information you
gather to adjust instruction
as appropriate or give
individual students
personalized attention.
2. testquestions
Ask students to submit questions they believe are
appropriate for an upcoming test.
TIP: If you decide to
use any of the test
questions submitted,
reward the student
who is responsible
for creating it.
This not only helps you see whether your
students are ready for a test, it might also
give you some test questions to use.
or
homework3.
Leave paper-homework
in the past!
In three simple steps:
1. Create homework on
DyKnow panels.
2. Ask students to complete it
and submit it back to you.
3. Grade and return the homework right in DyKnow.
Tip: You can also create digital
homework in applications like
Word or OneNote and use the
File Transfer feature in DyKnow
Monitor to eliminate paper.
journalentries4.
Does the thought of carrying 20-30 student journals
make your arms hurt just thinking about it?
Let DyKnow do the heavy lifting.
Simply ask students to fill up one
panel weekly, daily or monthly –
whichever you prefer. They can
submit their entries right in DyKnow
and you can return them after
evaluating.
The best part? Students aren’t
prevented from writing another entry
because you haven’t had time to
return their journals.

illustrationsAnd diagrams5.
Diagrams and Illustrations are
pertinent in all disciplines. Electrical
engineering
Animal

Lord of the
flies
Ask students to draw a
diagram or illustration of
something you are covering
in class and submit their final
product.
This is fun for all learners but
it is particularly valuable for
the visual learners who
prefer the aid of illustrations,
diagrams, graphs, charts,
maps, text books, hand-outs and video clips.
