    If you were to look at someone you respect, someone who’s successful, you would see that they spend each day doing the things that help them

    —but despite the things that are not perfect in their lives, they continue to make moves that have a positive impact. And it starts with their daily

    habits.

    1. Successful people plan out their day the night before.It’s easy to get off track when you don’t have a plan. Without planning what your day will look like, you wake up not knowing what you want to do or 

    accomplish. Successful people spend a little time the night before giving themselves clear goals for the next day. Then they wake up and go down

    their list.

    Life doesn’t always work out as planned, but with a plan, you can adjust without losing momentum.

    much  knowledge. Apparently Elon Musk would read at least four hours a day growing up. Four hours.  And look how successful he became.

    There isn’t necessarily a defined length as to how much time you should be reading, but forming a daily reading habit will expand your knowledge

    and help you on your journey to success.

    3. Successful people make their health a priority.What you eat and how much you exercise affects every area of your life. Successful people use their exercise as a time to reset and plan. And they

    they need to accomplish everything on their daily to-do list.

    Love these f ive habits, put so succinctly, they sound like they're simple to use! Staying focused is a lot easier said than done I find.

    Though, with practice, the focus becomes easier, especially with the concept of putting a plan together the night before your day. This plan

    I find, allows you to work really diligently on the one topic you have set down for 9am, then it gives you permission to stop when the next

    scheduled task arises, even if the first one isn't quite finished yet. Schedule it to occur again tomorrow, or later in the day.

    I find too, that listening to audible self development books when I'm driving is a great way to fit in more books a week (yes, I'm a bookaholic

    and usually have at least two a week on the go, one self development or business learnings and the other purely escapism or a biography

    of a successful person).

    I believe in all forms of self-development. I did an MLM for many years, and learned much. There I signed up for weekly tapes (later CDs!)

    and a book a month. When I left that, I realized I was doing well, on someone else's habits ὠ Now on my own, I need to get it back in gear.

    But certainly, some kind of continuous self-improvement is a must.

    Hi Mike. Thanks for the positive remark :) Well at the time I was subscribing to all those books, audios, etc, I was with

     AMWAY! I've been out of it, and driving trucks, but have never forgotten. I still read s elf-help books to keep up to par,

    especially to keep up with new Internet related updates. One thing I WILL say though, is if you can get your hands on some

    real old books such as "How I Raised Myself From Failure to Success in Selling" by Frank Bettger. Also "How to Win

    Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, and so on :)

    now and it has challenged me to the core.

    Beside the fun, freedom and fulfilment at our company I'm growing in following areas:

    I'm more community orientated than individuality, I have developed an "act now syndrome" (if not me then who, if not

    long as the content increases your knowledge or encourages you to take action it is worth consuming.
