Day 1We depart early this morning on our Wisconsin SummerAdventure anticipating a great trip ahead. En route, we’llenjoy a cup of hot coffee and snack served by a professionalBianco Tour Director. Upon arrival in Mears, MI we’llexperience a fun-filled afternoon kicking up the sand via aseven mile dune buggy ride. This exhilarating ride finds usgliding up and down the dunes and capturing a breathtakingpanorama that includes spectacular views of SparklingSilver Lake and Lake Michigan. An included dinner followsfree time to freshen up and relax at our area hotel.

Day 2Breakfast is included this morning before we make our wayinto downtown Ludington, MI to board the S.S. BadgerCar Ferry. This ferry transports us - coach and all - fromLudington across Lake Michigan to Manitowoc, WI. Thisrelaxing four-hour, 60 mile cruise features a lounge, giftshop, museum, dining, Badger Bingo and more. Uponarrival in Manitowoc this afternoon, we have time for lunchon our own before touring the Wisconsin MaritimeMuseum, the largest maritime museum in the Midwestdedicated to Great Lakes maritime history. Explorefantastic exhibits, galleries and tour the USS Cobia, thenation’s most completely restored WWII submarine.Afterwards, we drive up to Door County, WI where wearrive at the Lodge at Leathem Smith, our home for thenext three nights. This waterfront lodge is the place to staywhile in Sturgeon Bay and offers many amenities. Thisevening we’ll enjoy an included dinner at the Kona BayFish House, the Lodge’s award winning restaurant. Theremainder of the evening is ours to enjoy.

Day 3After an included breakfast this morning, we venture out toexplore the area. Renard’s Cheese is our first stop for

shopping and sampling fresh, award-winning Wisconsin cheeses, wines,oils and breads. You may want to pick up a delicious snack or two toenjoy later. Our included lunch this afternoon is at a historic restaurant inAlgoma, WI. A leisurely drive through the countryside brings us toParallel 44 Winery, situated on the same parallel as wine making regionsin Tuscany and Bordeaux. Here, we’ll tour the vineyard and productionfacility before sampling some of their unique, award-winning wines. Ourjourney continues to Green Bay, WI where a local guide provides a tour ofthe city. Sites of interest include: Lambeau Field - home of the Green BayPackers, waterways that define the region, Astor neighborhood - a multi-block of historic residences listed on the National Register of HistoricHomes, and much more. Our tour ends at Farmers Market on Broadwaywhere we have the opportunity to shop and dine on our own. OnWednesdays during summer months, Green Bay’s Broadway District turnsinto an amazing Farmer’s Market featuring fruits, vegetables, arts, crafts,fresh and hot food, live entertainment, boutique shopping, desserts anddrinks. Snack on an array of food and wine samples or dine at one of themany restaurants on Broadway before we return to the Lodge for the night.

Day 4Enjoy an included breakfast before departing on a tour of Door Countywith a local step on guide. We’ll travel through the back roads and crossDoor County’s largest inland lake as we learn the history of each of thequaint little villages we pass along the way. En route, we’ll make scenicstops at various sites including the Bjorklunden Chapel with its 42 frescopaintings and beautiful wood carvings, Koepsel’s Farm Market, and EagleBluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park. Our included lunch stop is at AlJohnson’s Swedish Restaurant, fondly known for their goats on the roof!This afternoon, we arrive in Fish Creek with free time to shop along tree-lined streets filled with the neatest shops on the Peninsula. Afterwards,we’ll enjoy an authentic Door County Fish Boil at Pelletier’s, a traditionunique to the area. “The show” begins outside where we watch the ownerprepare the feast and wait until the pot boils over, signaling dinner is ready.Alternate meals are available for those who don’t eat fish. After dinner, wereturn to the Lodge to enjoy the remainder of the evening as we wish.

Day 5We enjoy one final included breakfast at the Lodge at Leathem Smith thismorning before departing for home and basking in memories of awonderful trip.
