Light, Simple Salad Wins Top Prize in Contest
Sharing Hometown Recipes, Cooking Tips and Coupons
One of my favorite parts of this past summer was tasting the hundreds of scrumptious salads entered
in The Ultimate Salad Toss recipe contest! Cooks like you from across the country entered their creative salad recipes for a chance at a trip to Nashville, Tenn. and a $1,000 cook’s dream shopping spree.
The Kitchen Crew and I considered each entry’s flavor, presentation, ease of preparation, and creativity, and I’m delighted to announce that Marie Guaragna of Arlington, Virginia is the First Place winner with her Mandarin Orange/Strawberry Spinach Salad! This salad is a crowd pleaser, indeed. Congratulations Marie!
See step-by-step photos of Marie Guaragna’s salad recipe and thousands more recipes from other hometown Americans at:
www.justapinch.com/saladYou’ll also find a meal planner and coupons for the recipe
ingredients. Enjoy and remember, use “just a pinch”...
