Switch to Clean Energy! This spring, St. Margaret’s Green Team worked with Groundswell and their partners Interfaith Power and Light, Chesapeake Climate Action Network, and others to join a group purchase of clean power for homes and apartments. If you pay a utility bill in Maryland, you can switch to 100% clean energy at a price that is 5-10% less expensive than switching on your own. Sign up online at www.groundswell.org or bring a copy of your power bill to church on Sunday and our team will help you sign up at coffee hour. Switching is easy: no new equipment, same monthly bill from utility company, no extra charges. AND, for every person who switches, Groundswell will make a $10 donation to St. Margaret’s! Just choose St. Margaret’s from the drop down menu for “referring organization.”
