2 Issues Fixed in 5.1.10This topic lists the issues fixed in the 5.1.10 release version of the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile application for iOS.

The following issues found earlier in the application are now fixed:

1. The application SDK does not provide the ability to disable the appearance of author name (of BI documents) in following screens of the application:

○ Home screen (where BI documents are listed)○ BI document Information screen○ Sort pop up (invoked from app tool-bar)

NoteTo achieve the above customization ability, two new properties are now defined in the application SDK. For more information, refer to the Developer's Guide published on http://help.sap.com/bomobileios.

2. In geo-analysis, on tapping a point of interest (POI), the list of associated measures that appears in the bubble pop up is not in the same order as that of measures in the Web Intelligence table.

3. In geo-analysis, if multiple POIs have the same co-ordinates (latitude, longitude), the pop up (that appears on tapping a POI) displays incorrect data in the app.

4. If a Web Intelligence document with custom color palettes is opened in the application, it throws an error.5. When viewed in the application, horizontal tables sometimes display grayed header cells with no text.6. When line charts are viewed in the app, they display the "Content not supported" message.7. Web Intelligence tables display horizontal and vertical scroll on the device screen, even when there is no data.8. Variables in Web Intelligence chart titles display incorrectly in the application.9. On the iPad, refreshing a report twice causes the charts in BI reports to turn into tables.10. The link to drill down (in tables) is missing when some Web Intelligence reports are viewed on device.11. Between prompts on the Date variable that are based on BICS do not work as expected in the application on

iOS 7 devices.12. When viewed in the application, data points sometimes appear scrambled in charts.13. Query string parameters are not supported in SAP BI URLs for opening Dashboard documents.14. Personal views (of Web Intelligence reports) do not retain the last prompt value that the user selects (during

document refresh) before saving the personal view.15. In Web Intelligence bar charts, if the report designer sets the X or Y axis of the chart to a fixed scale, and

defines either the minimum or maximum value on the axis, the application does not consider the specified (min/max) value and does automatic scaling. However, if the designer specifies both the (minimum and maximum) axis values in Web Intelligence, the chart does display the expected behavior in the application.

16. On iPhone devices, the characters in the personal and corporate category names that appear in the left navigation (Browse) panel of the application are cut, and do not display completely.

17. In Web Intelligence reports with filters, when modifying the value selections in the filter pop up, the Done button does not appear.

18. In Web Intelligence scorecards, when a micro-bar chart is tapped (to view in zoom mode), the values on the X and Y axes of the chart appear randomly and are not accurate.

19. In cascading combo boxes in Dashboards, when the user selects a value at a lower hierarchy level of the cascade, and then navigates back to the root level and returns to the same lower level, the values at the lower level are not reset as expected.

3 Issues Fixed In 5.1.9The following issues found earlier in the application are now fixed

1. The list of values in the cascading prompts in the application appear in a random order.2. To perform advanced actions (such as Annotation or Collaboration) in the secondary toolbar of Dashboards

reports, the user needs to do a minimum of three taps on the device screen.3. While refreshing a document with the "DateRange" variable based on Bex Queries, the application returns an

error (MOB00082).4. On double tapping a micro bar chart, it does not zoom in.5. When viewing Web Intelligence content on Mobile, the option to drill down is missing in some tables.6. The value axis scaling in charts defined by the Web Intelligence report designer does not appear as expected

in the application.7. BI documents get deleted erratically and the application becomes unusable unless re-installed.8. The colors in pie-charts (when seen in the app on device) are not the same as that defined in Web Intelligence.9. On refreshing the Home screen, the application exits abnormally.10. Bubble charts do not appear as expected in Web Intelligence content.11. On tapping the Back button from a Dashboards document, the application returns to main document list.12. In cascading prompts, the application forces users to select values of parent prompts, even if the child or leaf

level prompt is defined as "Optional".13. Hierarchical prompts do not retain the selected values for the second consecutive refresh of report in the

application.14. Sometimes, variables in chart titles do not work as expected in the application.15. During a session time out, the application does not automatically prompt for a log in. Instead, it waits for a

server request.16. When viewed in the application, Web Intelligence bar charts display more than the specified two decimal

places (as per report design) in the values on chart axes.17. Images embedded in table headers appear with padding when viewed in the application.18. App customization using the SDK does not work as expected.19. The Embeddability SDK does not consider the value for the AUTHENTICATION_TYPE key.20. If sharing rights are disabled for a BI platform user in the Central Management Console (CMC), the user

cannot share BI connections using the application.21. When bullet charts are viewed in Web Intelligence reports in the application (on device), the original numeric

values of the 'Actual value' and 'Target value' parameters (as per the report design), and those denoted by their corresponding indicators in the chart do not match.

22. In an exploration view (or information space), the legend panel in charts does not include the setting to Show/Hide Total.

23. The application sometimes exits abnormally when viewing a Web Intelligence document with geo-analysis (maps).

24. The application exits abnormally in the following scenarios

○ A connection is saved in the application.○ Alerts are accessed.○ OpenDocument URL in geo-analysis does not include the iDocID or sDocName parameters.○ The Update All button is used and the Explorer content is listed in the Updated list.

4 Issues Fixed in 5.1.8The following issues found earlier in the application are now fixed:

1. The application exits abnormally while downloading a Web Intelligence document, if the user name contains "/" character and the password is not saved for a server connection.

2. The application does not verify if a user has accepted EULA (End User License Agreement) before connecting to Lumira cloud.

3. The screen-shot sometimes includes the application toolbar, when users share a report screen-shot (using Email or the Collaborate option).

4. On an iPhone device, there is no option to disable the application Help in device Settings>SAP BI settings.5. The application does not consider the changes to values of the following properties in

defaultsettings.plist file within the SDK:

○ feature.help.enabled.default○ feature.help.url.webi.default.iphone

6. In the portrait mode of an iOS device, if users try to create a connection using an SAP BI URL, the Create new connection screen is not aligned to the center of the screen.

7. The application exits abnormally while downloading a Web Intelligence document using an SMP connection, if the user name contains "/" character.

8. The application exits abnormally while reloading the Home screen after users cancel the password-expiry alert.

5 Issues Fixed in 5.1.6The following issues found earlier in the application are now fixed:

1. Users are unable to delete the sample BI documents in the application.2. The "Logging In" activity indicator does not appear when the server response for a connection is delayed.3. Section names do not appear in BI reports with the Refresh on open feature.4. In the German version of the application, the text in report information is curtailed followed by an ellipse.5. Text in table headers in not auto-wrapped.6. When the airplane mode is switched on in the device, the secondary tool-bar does not appear in BI reports .7. Legends in micro-charts (in scorecards) are not visible on iPad devices.8. If italics is applied to text in table headers (as part of report design), the expected formatting (italicized text)

does not appear in the application on device.9. After adding server connections in the application, the left navigation (Browse) panel does not display any

highlighted category (the expectation is that the All category should be highlighted by default).10. The string "Retry" (wherever used in the application UI) is not translated to the French language.11. Merged cells do not display proper text alignment in Web Intelligence tables.12. The Expand/Collapse buttons in hierarchical tables are too small.13. Once the user adds few reports to My Items (or downloads them), logs out of the current server connection

and logs on to it again, the application does not display any reports in the All tab of server documents.14. When seen in the application, the values in bubble charts do not display the expected formatting (as per what

is defined in report design).15. When users navigate (expand/collapse the nodes) in the hierarchical tables present inside sections of a Web

Intelligence document, the application does not retain the current section during navigation. Irrespective of the section in which the user is, after an expand/collapse action, the application starts displaying the first table section.

16. Extra space is observed in multi-lined column headers of tables.17. When OpenDocument URLs are configured in geo-analysis, the application does not consider the parameters

passed in the URL.18. When users tap on Collaborate in a secondary report tool-bar, the pop up that appears does not explicitly

specify whether the user is expected to log on using his/her SAP JAM credentials or SAP StreamWork credentials.

19. On refreshing the Home screen of the application, if a downloaded BI document displays an Update alert and the user logs out of the current connection, and logs in again, he/she observes that the alert no longer appears over the document tile.

20. When viewing Web Intelligence report-charts with decimal values, the application displays the values as rounded up numbers.

21. When tapping SAP BI URLs for latest instance on the device, the latest instance of the BI document does not open in the application.

22. The report list icon that appears in the report tool-bar of documents with multiple reports is missing.23. The application crashes if OpenDocument URLs in geo-analysis contain the entire OpenDocument syntax

(including all optional and mandatory query string parameters).24. If square brackets are used in a chart's title (as part of report design), the title does not appear when seen in

the application.25. Documents with multiple optional prompts do refresh successfully in the application.26. The Filter looks grayed out on the application UI.27. While modifying an SUP connection, the message "Do you want to connect?" appears twice in the application.

28. When using the Latest Instance option in the Information screen of a BI document, the application does not respond as expected.

29. SAP BI URLs (for opening documents) do not pass the prompt parameters to the target if the list of values (LOV) has special characters.

30. In prompts, the cascading list of values do not work properly beyond two levels in the hierarchy.31. On tapping hyperlinks embedded in Web Intelligence documents, or on tapping hyperlink objects, the URL

content appears within the application container (instead of loading in the browser).32. Bubble charts and waterfall charts in Web Intelligence reports display wrong axis values when the values are

formatted as percentages.33. In the Home screen tool-bar (when seen on iPhones), the category name (based on the current category

selection in left navigation panel) text overlaps the Browse button.

NoteThis issue is fixed by replacing the Browse button with an icon in the current version of the app.

34. In the German version of the application, the session expiry message text appears in English (instead of German) in the alert dialog box.

35. When users tap on any link in a report part (such as an OpenDocument URL, an SAP BI URL, hyperlink or report element linking based table cells), the application UI does not respond with any feedback (such as highlighting the link text or changing background color of the link).

36. When viewing a BI report with sections, the report parts that are outside the first section do not appear by default on the device screen. User needs to select required section (from the Sections panel) to display the report parts that correspond to it.

indicates "Add to Home" when it should display "Add to My Items".3. After adding a server connection, no category is highlighted in the left navigation panel under "Server". The

category "All" should be selected by default.4. In Geo-analysis, an arrow appears at the top right of the pop ups even if no report part is referenced via Open

Document URL.5. In reports based on BEx queries with "refresh-on-open" and sections, the report does not display the section

name consistently in the app. On switching to another page within the report and returning back to the original, or on changing the device orientation, the section title disappears.

6. The application crashes while opening a document when a different locale is set in Web Intelligence.7. After expanding a hierarchy in a table or chart, if users perform any other operation before collapsing the

hierarchy, the application crashes.8. If the Open Document URL configured in a report-part points to a document residing on a different BI

platform server, the URL does not work in the application.9. In an open BI document, if the "Reports" pop up is opened and the user changes device orientation, and then
