Dubai is known as second largest emirate in UAE which occupies an area of 3,885kms. Dubai is known as Muslim city, where tradition plays an important role. Dubai’s fascinating history and vibrant heritage offers its visitors a glimpse into its culture. It is one of the biggest business hubs in the world. It is well known for its warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage. Most of the Dubai’s tourist attractions include The Dubai mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai world trade centre and Dubai marina. Dubai mall is the world’s largest shopping centre with 1,200 stores in it. Hence some of these facts make Dubai an interesting place for tourism and business events. History of Dubai: 800 members approximately of the Bani Yas tribe, led by the Maktoum family were settled at the mouth of the creek in 1833.As the creek a natural harbour, Dubai soon became a center for fishing, pearl and sea trade. By 20th century Dubai became a successful port. Oil was discovered in 1966; Sheikh Rashid utilized the oil for revenues to spur the infrastructure development in Dubai.
