Recessed Housing Compatibility

1. Push the black wire from the fi xture into the + wire terminal of the female connector and the white wire from the fi xture into the - terminal of the female connector. (fi g 1)

2. Push the black wire from the socket adapter into the + wire terminal of the male connector and the white wire from the socket adapter into the - terminal of the male connector. (fi g 1)

3. Unscrew the two large screws on the top of the fi xture and use them to attach the torsion springs to the fi xture in either the 5” or 6” position. (fi g. 2)

4. Twist the socket adapter into the socket. (fi g 3.)5. Connect the male and female connectors.(fi g.

4)6. Squeeze both torsion spring arms together

and insert into torsion spring slots (or receiver brackets) of can (fi g. 4). Tuck all wires into can and carefully push retrofi t trim into can. To provide enough room in shallow cans, carefully position socket adapter wiring to side of LED driver prior to inserting retrofi t trim into the can.

LED Disk Down Light Can Retrofit FixtureImportant: Read all instructions prior to installation.

1. Align holes in junction box with corresponding holes on junction box mounting plate. Using screws provided, attach junction box mounting plate to the junction box so that it is flush with the ceiling. Do not overtighten screws. (fig 1 &2)

2. Connect hot, neutral, and ground wires on fixture to the hot, neutral, and ground wires in the junction box using wire nuts. (fig 3) Then push wires back inside of junction box.

3. Align the two mounting clips on the fixture to the mounting clip holes in the junction box mounting plate and gently push the fixture upward until it locks in place. (fig.3)

1. With fingertips, pull down firmly on trim ring until fixture stops.

2. Squeeze torsion springs together to remove LED fixture.

3. Disconnect fixture from socket adapter.4. Unscrew socket adapter from recessed can.

1.Loosen torsion spring bracket with screw;If install into 6" can housings:Remove 2 torsion springbrackets completely to keep them in the out ward postion. (FIG.1-1)If install into 5" can housing: Slide bracket to inward position.(FIG.1-2)Then,Tighten screw.

5.Squeeze both torsion spring arms together and insertinto the torsion spring slots (or receiner bracktes) of thecan.Tuck all wires into the can and carefully push the retrofit trim into can (note:to provide enough room inshallow cans carefully position socket adapter andsocket adjacent to the long side of the LED driver priorto inserting the retrofit tirm into the can.(FIG.5)

4.Plug the female connector of the retrofit trim onto themale connector of the socket adapter assembly.(FIG.4)

3.Thread the socket adapter into the socket.(FIG.3)

2.Unscrew the wing nut inside the can , Upwards move the socket bracket to max from the can.(FIG.2)

Safety and Notes

1. To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure that power supply is turned off at fuse box or circuit breaker before installing or servicing fixture.

2. For indoor use only, suitable for damp locations, avoid direct contact with water and other liquids.

3. Clean with a soft damp cloth only, do not use any chemical cleaners.

4. Before installation of any recessed lighting luminaire check your local electrical code. This code sets the wiring standards for your locality and should be carefully studied before starting.

5. The luminaire light can be dimmed with a standard triac dimmer.

Dimming performance may depend on the dimmer, the dimmer range adjustment setting (for dimmers with brightness range adjustments), the wiring method, and/or the number of LED modules installed onto the dimmer circuit. For dimmer selection, Dimming control manufacturers revise their product often; for the latest list of compatible dimmers please visit our website.For best results, it is recommended to install a minimum of four LED modules onto one dimmer. Before turning on the LED lights, set dimmer position at maximum before adjusting to a lower light level. Please follow the dimming control manufacturer’s instructions for the installation of all dimming controls.
