Directions to SUGAR POINT RESORT

Take 94 west from Minneapolis-St. Paul to 101 to Elk River. At Elk River take 169 to Garrison. Follow 6 to Remer 200. Go west (left) on 200 to County Road 8. Turn North on 8 and drive 12 miles to 73 and follow the resort signs 8 miles to the resort. Stay on paved roads.

PETS- DOGS ONLY

We are happy to welcome your dog to accompany you in a cabin for $20/day or $100/week or in the campground for $5/day or $25/week with a signed pet waiver. Maximum of 3 dogs. Your dog must be leashed and cleaned up after IMMEDIATELY and must not disturb other guests. Dogs must be housebroken and must not be left unattended. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ON FURNITURE OR BEDS!!! Please bring bedding and sheets to cover furniture and beds. Please bring all of the necessary supplies to clean up after your dog. Owners are responsible for their dog’s vaccination records and actions.

We are very excited for the opportunity to invite you to Sugar Point Resort. We cannot wait to begin another Fishing and Vacation Season on beautiful Leech Lake. We offer housekeeping cabins and a beautiful spacious campground.

CABINS Our resort features 1, 2, & 3 Bedroom modern cabins. The kitchens are well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot & toaster. Dishes, silverware, pots, pans & utensils furnished. Each cabin has 1 or 2 full bathrooms. Each cabin has a TV and a charcoal grill. Most cabins sit lake front with fire pits & AC’s. Portable fire pits available. You will need to furnish bath, kitchen, pool & beach towels. See our web site for a complete list.

FISHING WALLEYE fishing has been outstanding thanks to programs implemented by the DNR for the last several years. Leech Lake continues to produce trophy MUSKIES. NORTHERN, BASS, CRAPPIES, SUNNIES & PERCH are also plentiful. There’s a link to get a MN fishing lic. on our website homepage.

ACTIVITIES Our indoor pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. (Weather pending) Summer activities are available with lots of real estate to create your own fun. Pedalboats, kayaks & paddle boards available.

The customer is responsible for any damages or losses. DEPOSITS $300-$350/week-$200 minimum per cabin reserved. $100/week-$50 minimum for each camp site reserved. CAMPING DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

$100 for each boat rental $30 per slip Deposits must be received within 10 days of making your reservation. No reservation is final until deposit is received and acknowledged. Deposits will be credited to the last day of your confirmed reservation. Balance due at check-in. Refunds are made with a 60-day notice of cancellation, less a $30.00 processing fee. Cancellation of boat rentals on day of check-in will be billed at 50%. If unable to re-rent cabin or camp site with less than 60 day notice of cancellation, you will be responsible for entire stay. We are not responsible for weather, fishing or other acts of nature. Guests are responsible for their entire reservation.

*We have a protected harbor for your boat. Gas, bait, pop and ice are sold at the harbor. 1919 Root Beer, Pizza, pop, ice, sandwiches, ice cream treats, groceries, candy, charcoal, and shirts, sweatshirts, hats and more are available in the lodge. *Pizza delivered to cabins & campground *Coin operated laundry on site *Shower house available for campers Sugar Point Resort, LLC is not responsible for accidents.
