a) Brock University Caribou Mathematics Competition for Grades 3 - 8

Explore Literacy Resources In The Community

Explore resources in your community to enrich literacy skills (listening, speaking and reading) while building general knowledge and appreciation for history, science and the arts The city of Toronto provides students with an excellent environment for learning. Within our community, parents are able to enrich their childs learning while exploring world renowned museums, art galleries, the science centre, and numerous historic sites. When parents and students visit together, learning is enriched through dialogue, exploration and inquiry. Visit these many great venues for summer learning that is fun, engaging and enriching. Your journey through arts and culture in Toronto starts at the Toronto Public Library. The Sun Life Financial Museum + Arts Pass (MAP) lets you and your family (2 adults & up to 5 children) explore the best of Toronto's arts and cultural treasures for free.

With your valid adult Toronto Public Library card, you can take out a pass for your family at any Toronto Public Library branch. Quantities are limited and rules and conditions apply.

In addition, the ROM offers free neighbourhood walks. This year, 42 free walks of 12 neighbourhoods will be offered. ROMwalks provide guided walking tours of Toronto neighbourhoods of architectural and historical interest. Free walks take place most Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoons from May to October. No advance notice is required. Participants are asked to meet at the designated spot just before starting time. Look for the blue umbrella. On August 1st, the ROMwalk will focus on historic Toronto.
