Connecting the Foot Pedals (1&2)

Note:

The supplies foot pedals can be connected to the unit to simultaneously play the drumset’s hi-hat pedal or bass drum voices. They can also be assigned to play other voices.

Do not press the pedal while connecting it to the unit or while turning on the power.(Connecting in this manner with the power on, the pedal’s function may be reversed.)

SETTING UP

Power Supply

Your digital drum set will operate on either batteries or the supplied power adaptor. Follow theinstructions below according to the power source you intend to use.

Using the AC-AdaptorConnect the power adaptor to the DC IN jacklocated on the rear panel of the unit, and plug theAC power adaptor into an AC power outlet.

Do not use adaptors other than the one specified.The technical specification of the adaptor is DC12V output, center positive type.

Using Batteries1. Open the battery compartment cover under

the unit.

2. Insert six “C” size, R14 SUM-2 or equivalentbatteries. When inserting the batteries, followthe polarity markings in the illustration.

Note: We suggest using alkaline batteries.

3. Close the battery compartment securely.

Using Headphones

An optional set of stereo headphones can be connectedto the PHONES/OUTPUT jack located on the rear panel.When headphones are connected to the jack, theinternal speakers of the unit will switch off automatically(Perfect for private practice or late night playing). If youwould prefer to use an external sound system, theheadphone jack can also be used to connect the digitaldrum set to a stereo system or mixing console.

Turn off the power on all equipment beforemaking any connections.Note:

Power will be automatically drawn from the AC adaptor if an optional AC adaptor is connected while batteries areinstalled in the instrument.

It is recommended that you replace worn batteries as soon as possible. When battery voltage drops, the display willdim and / or the sound will become distorted, when this occurs, replace the batteries with a complete set of six newbatteries of the same type.NEVER mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (alkaline, magnesium, etc.), different brand batteries orbatteries from the same brand but of different types. Misuse may cause the instrument to become hot, result in fire,or battery leakage.Also, to prevent damage due to battery leakage, remove all the batteries from the instrument when it is not to beused for an extended period of time.If batteries are installed in this instrument, and the instrument is unused for a long period, they will loose their power.

Kit menu is the default menu after powering the unit onthe default value is 001.

Press the [kit] button to enter a kit menu. The 3-digitLED will display the current kit number with thecorresponding menu indicator illuminating. As shownon the illustration. The buttons select [+] / [-] or [dial]can be used to select any kit (1-30, loop) as thecurrent kit.

Press the [ volume ] button to enter the pad assignmenu. If the pad assign menu is selected, thecorresponding menu indicator will be lit up.

In this menu, the 3-digit LED will display the volume ofcurrent pad, which can be selected by pressing the padbutton on the top panel or by pad striking. The select[+] / [-] buttons or [dial] can be used to select thevolume (0-9, loop) for the current pad.

Press the pad assign button to enter pad assign menu.Default value will be the voice value of crash pad basedon different kits selected. For example, if kit 001 hasbeen selected, then press pad assign, the value on LEDwill be 96, as this is the voice value on crash pad.

If the pad assign menu is selected the correspondingvoice will be indication on the LED.

In this menu, the 3-digit LED will display the voicenumber of the current pad, which can be selected bypressing this pad button on the top panel or by padstriking. The select [+] / [-] or [dial] can be used toselect any voice (1-215, loop) buttons for the currentpad.

Press the [gain] button to enter the pad assign menu. Ifthe pad assign menu is selected, the correspondingmenu indicator will be lit up.

In this menu, the 3-digit LED will display the gain of thecurrent pad, which can be selected by pressing the padassign button on the top panel or by pad striking. Theselect [+] / [-] buttons or [dial] can be used to selectthe pan (0-9, loop) for the current pad.

Save Kit

Press the [save] button to enter the kit save menu. Theselect [+] / [-] buttons or [dial] can be used to select auser kit (21-30, loop) on the current kit setting. Duringthe kit selection, the user kit number will keep flashing.

Press the [save] button again; the current kit settingwill be saved to the selected kit. The unit will suspendthe kit menu and select this user kit as the current one,if all the data has been saved successfully.

If saving has failed due to error, an ‘Err’ will appear onthe LED.

The unsaved kit setting will be lost after changing thekit.

In the main volume menu, the digit on the far left sideof the LED will display the letter ‘L’. The two digits onthe right side will display the current main volume. Theselect [+] / [-] buttons or [dial] can be used to adjustthe volume (0-9, not loop). This value will be auto-savedafter adjusted.

In the accompaniment volume menu, the digit on theleft side of the LED will display the letter’A’. The twodigits on the right side will dispaly the currentaccompaniment volume. The select [+] / [-] buttons or[dial] can be used to adjust the volume (0-9, not loop).This value will be auto-saved after adjusted.

Press the [song] button to enter the song menu. Thedefault value is 001. The 3-digit LED will display thecurrent song number with the corresponding menuindicator lit up. The select [+] / [-] buttons or [dial] canbe used to select the current song (1-100, loop). Iffirst 80 style playing loop. Press the [start / stop]button to start or stop the song player. If the song isswitched while it’s playing, the new song will not startuntil the end of the current measure.

Each song has its own default tempo and drum kit, thesong player will begin at the current kit and the currenttempo, from the beginning of the song play

Pressing the [drum off] button will enable or disable thedrum off function when a song is playing. If the drum offis enabled, the drum voice will be turned off and thedrum off indicator will be lit. This function is quite usefulfor practicing.

Press the tempo [+] and [-] buttons to enter the tempomenu. The [+] and [-] buttons can be used to changethe current tempo (30-280, not loop), which affectsthe speed of clicking and the song playing. Pressingboth [+] and [-] will reset the current tempo to itsdefault value (current song tempo).

Press the [hand perc] button to enter the handpercussion mode and the hand mode indicator will belit. The song number is 5 and the kit number is 21.

The metronome will run once a song is playing but withonly indicator flashing. Press the [click] button forhuman voice counting. Press [click] button twice forclicking sound. Press the click button again to turn offthe clicking.

Press the [demo] button to start or stop a demo songplaying. The 3-digit LED will display ‘dE’, you can alsopress [start / stop] button to stop the demo song fromplaying. When the demo song is playing, you can adjustthe tempo value

Press the [reverb] button to enter the reverb function.In this menu, the digit on the far left of the LED willdisplay letter ‘R’. The two digits on the right will displaythe current reverb level. The select [+] / [-] buttons or[dial] can be used to adjust the reverb level (0-3, notloop). This value will be auto-saved after adjusted.

Prepare to RecordSelect the desired song, drum kit, tempo, drum offsetting, and reverb settings.

Press the [rec] button, the light will begin flashing.Press the [start/stop] button or strike the pad, thelight will stop flashing and the recording processbegins.

To stop recording, press the [start / stop] button or[rec] button. The record indicator will turn off. If thememory is full, "FL" will appear on the display and therecording process stops automatically.

When you start the recording, the vocal metronomealso starts to count. However the sound of the vocalwill not be recorded. To stop the metronome, press the[click] button.

Pulse el botón [kit] para acceder a un menú de kit. ElLED de 3 dígitos mostrará el número de kit actual conel indicador de menú correspondiente iluminado, comose muestra en la ilustración. Los botones de selección[+] / [-] o [dial] pueden usarse para seleccionarcualquier kit (1-30, bucle) como kit actual.

En este menú, el LED de 3 dígitos mostrará el númerode voz en la pista actual, que puede seleccionarsepulsando este botón de pista en el panel superior opulsando la pista. Los botones de selección [+] / [-] o[dial] pueden usarse para seleccionar cualquier botónde voz (1-215, bucle) para la pista actual.

Pulse el botón [guardar] para acceder al menú deguardado de kit. Los botones de selección [+]/[-] o[dial] pueden usarse para seleccionar un kit de usuario(21-30, bucle) en la configuración de kit actual.Durante la selección del kit, el número del kit deusuario parpadeará.

Pulse el botón [guardar] de nuevo; la configuración dekit actual se guardará en el kit seleccionado. La unidadsaldrá del menú de kit y seleccionará el kit como actualsi todos los datos se han guardado correctamente.

Si el guardado ha fallado por un error, se mostrará‘Err’ en el LED.

Los botones de selección[+]/[-] o [dial] pueden usarse para ajustar el volumen(0-9, sin bucle). Este valor se guardará después delajuste.

Pulse el botón [canción] para acceder a un menú decanción. El valor por defecto es 001. El LED de 3dígitos mostrará el número de canción actual con elindicador de menú correspondiente iluminado. Losbotones de selección [+] / [-] o [dial] pueden usarsepara seleccionar la canción actual (1-100, bucle). Siestá reproduciendo un bucle estilo de los primeros 80,pulse el botón [inicio / detener] para iniciar o detenerla canción. Si se cambia la canción durante lareproducción, la nueva canción no comenzará hastaterminar la medición actual.

Cada canción tiene su tempo y kit de percusión pordefecto; el reproductor comenzará con el kit y tempoactuales, desde el principio de la reproducción.

Si el apagadode percusión está activado, el sonido de percusión seapagará y el indicador de apagado de percusión seencenderá. Esta función es muy útil para practicar.

Pulse los botones [+] y [-] de tempo para acceder almenú de tempo. Los botones [+] y [-] pueden usarsepara cambiar el tempo actual (30-280, sin bucle), queafectan a la velocidad del marcado y de la canción enreproducción. Pulsar a la vez [+] y [-] restablecerá eltempo al valor por defecto (tempo de canción actual).

Pulse el botón [percusión manual] para acceder almodo de percusión manual y se encenderá el indicadorde modo manual. El número de canción es el 5 y elnúmero de kit el 21.

El metrónomo se pondrá en marcha cuando haya unacanción en reproducción, pero solamente con elindicador parpadeando. Pulse el botón [marcar] paracontar la voz humana. Pulse el botón [marcar] dosveces para el sonido de marcado. Pulse de nuevo elbotón [marcar] para apagar el marcado.

Pulse el botón [demo] para iniciar o detener unareproducción de canción de demostración. El LED de 3dígitos mostrará ‘dE’, también puede pulsar el botón[inicio/detener] para detener la reproducción de lacanción de demostración. Cuando se reproduzca lacanción de demostración, puede ajustar el valor detempo.

Los dos dígitos a la derechaexhibirán el nivel actual del reverb. Selecto [+] / [-] losbotones o [dial] se pueden utilizar para ajustar el nivel delreverb (0-3, no lazo). Este valor será salvadoautomáticamente después de ajustado.

Preparación Para GrabarSeleccione la canción, kit de percusión, tempo,configuración de percusión apagada, y configuración dereverberación deseados.

Pulse el botón [grabar], la luz comenzará a parpadear.Pulse el botón [inicio/detener] o pulse el teclado, la luzdejará de parpadear y el proceso de grabacióncomenzará.

Para detener la grabac ión, pu lse e l botón[inicio/detener] o el botón [grabar] El indicador degrabación se apagará. Si la memoria está llena,aparecerá “FL” en pantalla y el proceso de grabación seapagará automáticamente.

Cuando inicie la grabación, el metrónomo de voztambién comienza a contar. Sin embargo, el sonido dela voz no se grabará. Para detener el metrónomo,pulse el botón [marcar].

Connexion Des Pédales (1&2)

:

Les pédales fournies peuvent être connectées à l'appareil pour jouer simultanément les sons dehi-hat ou de basse de la batterie. Elles peuvent également être réglées pour jouer d'autres sons.

Ne pas appuyer sur les pédales au moment de les connecter à l'appareil ni au moment d'allumer.(En cas de connexion de cette manière avec l'appareil activé, la fonction des pédales peut êtreinversée.)

INSTALLATION

Alimentation

Votre clavier électronique peut fonctionner avec des piles ou avec l'adaptateur fourni. Suivez lesinstructions ci-dessous selon l'alimentation que vous utiliserez.

Avec Adaptateur ACBranchez l'adaptateur à l'entrée DC IN située àl'arrière de l'appareil et l'adaptateur AC à la priseAC correspondante.

N'utilisez pas d'autres adaptateurs que ceux quisont recommandés.Les spécifications techniques de l'adaptateursont: sortie DC 9V 500mA, avec centre positif.

Utilisation D'écouteurs

Un jeu optionnel d'écouteurs stéréo peut être branché àl'entrée PHONES / INPUT situé sur le panneau arrière.Quand on branche les écouteurs à la prise jack, les haut-parleurs internes de l'appareil sont automatiquementcoupés (Parfait pour jouer seul ou tard dans la nuit). Si vouspréférez utiliser un dispositif sonore externe, l'entréePHONES / INPUT peut être utilisée pour brancherl'appareil sur un appareil stéréo ou une console de mixage.

L'alimentation sera automatiquement faite par l'adaptateur AC s'il est branché pendant que vous installez lespiles dans cet appareil.

Il est recommandé de changer les piles usagées le plus tôt possible. Quand le voltage baisse, l'affichagecommence à faiblir et / ou le son est distordu; si cela arrive, changez le jeu complet des six piles en utilisantle même type.NE JAMAIS mélanger des piles vieilles avec des neuves, différents types de piles (alcaline, magnésium, etc.)différentes marques ou même différents types de piles de la même marque. Cela pourrait occasionner unesurchauffe, un incendie ou une fuite des piles.De la même façon, pour éviter que les problèmes dus à la fuite des piles, retirez-les de l'appareil quand vousne vous en servez pas pendant une période prolongée.

• Si les piles sont installées dans l'appareil et que vous ne vous en servez pas pendant un certain temps, ellesperdront leur puissance.

Les boutons de sélection [+] /[-] ou [dial] peuvent être utilisés pour sélectionner un kit(1-30, boucle) comme kit en cours.

Sauvegarder le Kit

Appuyez sur le bouton [save] pour accéder au menu desauvegarde du kit. Les boutons de sélection [+] / [-] ou[dial] peuvent être utilisés pour sélectionner un kitutilisateur (21-30, boucle) dans le réglage du kit. Lorsde la sélection de kit, le numéro de kit utilisateurcontinuera à clignoter.

Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton [save], le réglage dukit actuel sera sauvegardé dans le kit sélectionné.L’appareil suspendra le menu kit et sélectionnera le kitutilisateur comme kit actuel si toutes les données ontété sauvegardées avec succès.

Si la sauvegarde a échoué en raison d’une erreur, ‘Err’apparaîtra sur la LED.

Le réglage de kit qui n’aura pas été sauvegardé seraperdu après changement de kit.

Appuyez sur le bouton [song] pour accéder au menuchanson. La valeur par défaut est 001. La LED à 3chiffres affichera le numéro du chanson actuelle avecl’indicateur de menu correspondant illuminé. Lesboutons de sélection [+] / [-] ou [dial] peuvent êtreutilisés pour sélectionner la chanson actuelle (1-100,boucle). Si les premiers de style 80 sont lus enboucle.,appuyez sur le bouton [start/stop] pourdémarrer ou arrêter la lecture de la chanson. Si vouschangez de chanson pendant la lecture, la nouvellechanson ne démarrera pas avant la fin de la mesure encours.

Chaque chanson a son propre tempo par défaut et kitde batterie. Le lecteur de chanson démarrera le kit encours et le tempo en cours au début de la lecture de lachanson.

En appuyant sur le bouton [drum off] vous activerez oudésactiverez la fonction de la batterie lors de la lecturede chanson. Si la fonction off de la batterie est activée,le son de la batterie sera éteint et l’indicateur off de labatterie s’allumera. Cette fonction est assez utile pours’entraîner.

Appuyez sur les boutons tempo [+] et [-] pour accéderau menu tempo. Les boutons [+] et [-] peuvent êtreutilisés pour changer le tempo en cours (30-280, pasde boucle), ce qui affecte la vitesse de sélection et delecture de la chanson. En appuyant à la fois sur [+] et [-], vous réinitialiserez le tempo en cours à sa valeur pardéfaut (tempo de la chanson en cours).

Appuyez sur le bouton [hand percussion] pour accéderau mode de percussion manuelle et l’indicateur modemanuel s’allumera. Le numéro de chanson est 5 et lenuméro de kit est 21.

Le métronome sera lancé une fois qu’une chanson seralue mais uniquement avec l’indicateur clignotant.Appuyez sur le bouton [click] pour compter les sonshumains. Appuyez sur le bouton [click] deux fois poursélectionner le son. Appuyez à nouveau sur le boutonde sélection pour éteindre la fonction de sélection.

Appuyez sur le bouton [demo] pour commencer ouarrêter la lecture de la chanson démo. La LED à 3chiffres affichera ‘dE’, vous pouvez aussi appuyer sur lebouton [start/stop] pour arrêter la lecture de lachanson demo. Lorsque la chanson démo est enlecture, vous pouvez régler la valeur tempo.

Appuyer sur [le bouton de reverb] pour écrire la fonctionde reverb. Dans ce menu, le chiffre sur loin laissé de laLED montrera le `R de lettre'. Les deux chiffres du côtédroit montreront le niveau courant de reverb. Choisi[+]/[-] des boutons ou [cadran] peuvent être utilisés pourajuster le niveau de reverb (0-3, pas boucle). Cette valeursera sauvegardée automatiquement après ajusté.

Préparer L’enregistrement

Sélectionnez la chanson souhaitée, le kit batterie, leréglage batterie off et les réglages de réverbe.

Appuyez sur le bouton [rec], la lumière commencera àclignoter. Appuyez sur le bouton [start/stop] oufrappez le tambour, la lumière s’arrêtera de clignoteret l’enregistrement débutera.

Pour arrêter l’enregistrement, appuyez sur le bouton[start / stop] ou sur le bouton [rec]. L’indicateurenregistrement s’éteindra. Si la mémoire est pleine,‘ F L ’ appa ra î t r a à l ’ é c ran e t l a p rocédured’enregistrement s’arrêtera automatiquement.

Lorsque vous démarrez l ’enreg istrement, lemétronome vocal commence aussi le comptage.Cependant, le son de la voix ne sera pas enregistré.Pour arrêter le métronome, appuyez sur le bouton[click].
