Intended specially for the students of Theater and Acting course, the guest lecture covered the

ways regional theater in Maharashtra and Gujarat perform a function of annihilating

discrimination and binding the communities together. The lecture also covered the performance

aspects of Powada, Bhavai, Dashavtar, Tamasha, Nautanki, etc, and threw light on how these

traditional forms still find a place in Bollywood. The lecture was conducted virtually on Zoom

and consisted of video clips, photographs and oral description.
