The EFFP logo is made up of two elements, the ‘three squares’ and the ‘word mark’. These elements should always be used together as shown here, never separately.

Secondary colour palette
EFFP identity elementsColour palette EFFP’s primary colour palette is black and white. Using
them consistently across all media helps build recognition and coherence. A secondary colour palette is available for use in charts and graphs, it should only be used when absolutely necessary.

This is Baskerville Roman, it’s primarily used for large text and headings in all printed communications, and in some cases for typographic illustration. We do not recommend it is used for small text below 14pt.

Imagery is one of the most important elements of a company’s identity. EFFP’s primary photography uses a combination of black and white cut-out and full bleed photography.

In addition to photography, illustration forms an important part of the EFFP visual language. For fl exibility it is acceptable to use different illustration styles providing they are black and white.

The following pages show how the EFFP identity elements can be used to bring the brand to life.
Dear Name Surname,
Re: EFFP Ministerial Visit, 05th March 2009
Once again, thank you for taking time to join us and key industry stakeholders on Thursday 05th March. We hope that you found the discussionsa throughout the day insightful and informative; in particular how the relationship between government and industry could evolve to help address some of the key issues impacting the farming and food sector.
A number of key points arose that, due to time constraints, we could not discuss in further detail. We have therefore summarised the views of the businesses in the pages following this letter. In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the views xxxxx over the impact of the Offi ce of Fair Trading on the consolidation of the dairy sector.
However, the core issue that arose was that of Planning Policy Guidelines on the development of ‘First Stage Processing Centres’ such as central grain stores (these views are discussed in detail in the pages following this letter). Senior representatives from xxxxx, xxxxxx and xxxxxx are keen to discuss this issue in further detail and would particularly welcome the opportunity to take up your offer to review the Planning Policy Guidelines with the appropriate government authority.
EFFP has been asked by the businesses to facilitate their involvement in this process. Therefore, we would like to invite your views on the most appropriate way to take this forward and to co-ordinate the next steps through your offi ce. I would be grateful if you could respond to this letter providing guidance on how to take this issue forward – as well as any other comments you may have in relation to the points raised below – to myself at the above address.
Yours faithfully,
Siôn RobertsChief Executive,English Farming and Food PartnershipsEnclosure.
