PEOPLE MANAGEMENT IN THE SAF
• Observe the behaviour and mannerisms of commanders at SCS. What
attitudes and leadership characteristics are imparted and emphasised in this
institute? What is the perception given during this visit?
• How should you prepare yourself for the eventuality of becoming a people
manager in the SAF (guys to respond)?
• What skills & experience would add value to the workplace? (ladies to
respond)?
• Engage in a conversation with one of the SAF personnel and find out what
he or she has learnt in terms of people management.
